today's topic for consideration on the path to healing was 'seeing ourselves as GOD sees us'. it's hard sometimes to understand that HE sees us as HIS children, but the bible tells us of the unsearchable depths of HIS love. HE chooses to love us even though in our minds there isn't anything worth loving, sometimes. but what we have in Christ is all we will ever need if we simply choose to accept it. HE will take away the residue of our past and cleanse us completely. we simply have to believe and be humble and obedient.
today as my mind wandered into areas that are off limits during intercourse with my husband, (as it often does and he encourages it) i knew that i wanted to stay on the path to healing. so try as i might, the same fantasies weren't doing it for me. so i began to pray silently to myself and GOD to cleanse our marriage bed and make it pleasing to HIM as well as my hubby. as i began to do this, it took my mind off the dark path and put me on the path of righteousness.
for they that are in the flesh cannot please GOD.
HE is so good, i could feel HIS hand bringing light to that place of darkness.
if HE can do it for me, HE can do it for you. ANYTHING that concerns you, if you will let HIM lead and be obedient to follow, it will work out better than you could have hoped for.
GOD bless u all, and be stron in the LORD and the power of HIS might

And you did well my sister...you turned to the ONE who could help you in your time of temptation and He helped comfort and settle you.

God sees us through the blood of Jesus...not as we see ourselves because Jesus stands between us and God....if we love and believe in Jesus then we are clean in the Lord's sight...reborn in Christ.

As you continue on this journey sis...I see you fighting the good fight...not quitting and not giving up...but pushing forward and leaning more on Him. He is proud of you sis.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
