common problem/solution/bond
My special thanx goes to Tam this morning for posting her thoughts in her thread , that as a result awoke an answer within me as to what had been going inside for a good part of a week and a half or two weeks now .
Actually the reason I'm putting this here is because I didn't think it fair for me to hog the thread .
I guess , the best way to understand what am I to write about , is to read Tam's today's post first , and keep in mind the first word in my chosen title , "common" , as in same , alike , something shared , as opposed to -run-of-the-mill common .
Early this morning I was awakened with "You will never be able to kill me you *.... " spouting out my mouth , next thing I know I was sitting up in my bed with this overwhelming (dunno) "fear"? . Turning the light on , I noticed as if a tornado had hit my bed , I mean even the pillow and sheets were on the floor , I went "Yep , a nightmare " . But what ? Why ? Who ? So I reach for the Sword , read a couple of verses , and went back to sleep .
Waking up again , cranked up C/O , while loading , the words "You'll never be able to kill me " rang through my head again , ok , C/O's loaded , scroll down here's Tam's post . BINGO ! Is our Lord Great or what ?
As a child , coming into the house , a great commotion was going on inside , the whole "clan" was there and no one was sitting down , some yelling , some crying , and with my peripherals I see two of my uncles and father around the gun cabinet checking their weapons , yep , a member of the family had been killed . Before my brother and sister could get in the door , I made a mad dash toward it and practically tackled them right back out , "Come on , let's go , get out of here !!"
That summer found me in the village , at my grandfather's , without my brother or sister , just me . Among the many festivals , one custom was that the village shares a portion of their harvest crops with each other , my grandfather's being wheat , I loaded two sacks if it on the donkey and waited for my grandfather . A passer by turned to me and said " That grandfather of yours sure must be out of his mind , taking that wheat to the one who killed one of his own" . Yep the person responsible , had taken refuge in the village ! My knees go out from under me .
Midway to their house we stop at a creek to water the animals and grab a snack , my grandfather says to me , " I don't know you too well you're still a kid , but I know your father , now where's the pistol ? Hand it over " . Clomp , into the river it went .
Sacks delivered . On the way back , Same spot at the creek/river . Grandfather , "In case you were wondering , I told him 'You may kill one of mine , but you never be able to kill me ' , that dog will never be able to come out of that house or eat wheat again , I just wanted to make sure he saw my eyes "
Not too long ago , I lost my daughter to murder . Fishing around for a computer camera and microphone , when people found out about the video conversation I was planning to arrange with the person responsible , everyone was saying I was I out my mind .
During the conversation I told this person , "You may have taken my daughter's life , but me you will never be able to kill , I'm offering you my forgiveness , but I will also let you know that you will never be able to enjoy it or be able to get out of this "house" again , I just wanted to see if you're even able to look me in the eye , you can't even look at the screen in front of you for you know who's there "
Oh , the verse in the Sword , "It's like pouring heaping hot coals on their heads"
In Christ , our Lord

Hey Vahn,
Forgiveness is a powerful thing! Jesus said "Father forgive them because they know not what they do." I believe it's in Hebrews, but it also says that "If Satan KNEW what he was doing, he would NOT have allowed Jesus to be crucified. By doing this, He gave us, also, the power to forgive sin! Those religous people in the bible told Jesus that only God had the power to forgive people's sins..but little did they know, we as Christian have the power to forgive anyone's sin. When Jesus rose He said "ALL power in Heaven and earth has been given unto Me." He gave us that power, also.
If we don't forgive, God can't forgive us. Forgiveness sets that capture free. This is a great way to show the power of the Almighty. You're right, that person can't "kill" the real "you"...meaning the Spirit Man that God has imparted into Vahn, which has givin him the power to forgive. Nobody can destroy the love of God. It's a blessed thing to trully know that God has given you have that ability. Take care and be healed and free in God's love and power my brother.
