Ok, semper take a step back and read step 4 later. Just make sure to come back to it...the only way you will heal is to do the steps properly...one at a time...and all the way through to the end.

The study speaks on forgiveness and a wall goes up.

Can you forgive yourself superfide?
Have you lived a life where you were never forgiven?
Possibly you had to prove yourself worthy only to come up short every time.

Forgiveness is something we accept from God, even if a human can't give it. It's a free gift. Like for your birthday or Christmas. You get a gift though you didn't do anything to earn it.

There's no need to prove yourself to God before you accept his gift of forgiveness. He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows the real you. You know the man who's accepted a bunch of lies and so you don't really even know your true self.

i was nevar fergivn, they wuld always brang it up lattar when it was convinient or when it was to the most advantage only. i know i cin nevar b worthya nutn, i caint earn nutn cus i int got no waya earnin it. i have no skills n no tallents... thar is nutn i am good at....

Your value is not in what you do but who you are. God calls you His child.

Their choice to not forgive you is not the same as Gods choice. He forgives easily and readily.

They are human he is God. They fall where He is perfect. His love and acceptance of you is perfect.

Semper...your trying too hard to be this or that...when God doesn't want you to try so hard...He wants you to let Him help you and show you what He can do for you...you say you don't have any talents to be anything...but if you know Jesus...and allow Him to love you....then you will begin to see changes in your life. If you want change...you've got to pull the weeds...right now the weeds and lies are still controlling your beliefs...when Jesus wants to be the one that you believe in to control your life. Come on Semper...you can do this.

Have you forgiven them for what they did and said to you brother?

Cuz you cant change what they did, its the past. But you CAN choose to make the right decision for your life now. And an important part of healing, of overcoming, is in forgiving.

In fact, its so important, Jesus commanded it of us.

So this is an area that needs very close examination, because the consequence of doing so, or not doing so, are enormous.
