Hi Derek. Whew what a heavy load to carry hu? Knowing how selfish we really are kinda bites.

Relax in His grace. His grace is sufficient for us even in this.

Learn how he loves. 1 Corinth 13. Each of those attributes of love is how God loves. Practice them. Ask Him for help.

Isn't God good. He loves us even though we are so selfish. Baby steps Derek. With each step you get closer to being more like him and less of you.

God loves ya brother, and so do I.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

hey dmorrow...sometimes it's difficult for us to look at the things that are getting in God's way...selfishness being one of them. We are such a prideful bunch of people...and we don't want to have to admit that we need God more than we need ourself....cuz then we have to move over and trust God to do what He knows is right...and we loose all of the control....but if we will push away our selfishness...and let God move....then we will see a difference...and things in our life will begin to change.

Praying for you dmorrow.

luv ya

yep, we are all born selfish....and if we think we arent, we only need to look in the mirror and be honest with ourselves. God knows this, though. As Pine said, get yourself into the word. Seek His will for your life, cuz He has one..something only you can do. He doesnt set us up for failure but will give us the tools we need to do what it is He has planned for us. Keep seeking Him and get to know His heart of love...He gives it to us. Let Him saturate your life with it. The goal is to get our eyes off ourselves and on Him to reach out to others who need the same kind of unconditional love and forgiveness we have been given. Here every step of the way with ya, bro. May His perfect will be done in your life.

in Jesus,
luv momo *Halo*
