Wow! The Project!!!! I've been in counseling for a couple of weeks shy of 4yrs., and I moved forward more in the first part of last week, than at any point in those 4yrs!!! And now this project seems to be custom built for me. God is such an awesome Creator!!! Already have a few things that I had been wanting to start doing...getting up earlier to give special time to prayer, instead of on the drive to work...back to exercising daily to name a few. Just want to Thank the Creators of the project for an amazing bit of mework.
Thanks, and may God Bless all.

Isn't it amazing that secular counselors don't think to get God involved?
My son is studying Psychology in college now and I tried to get him to read The Five Love Languages, telling him that it is good and doesn't refer to God often. Any seeds planted...

You seem so much happier wonder *childplay*

wonderfilled one...the charts are awesome. They will help you stay on track of the things you need to do. They will help strengthen your walk with God. And...they will help you stay accountable. Place goals on your charts that are attainable..start out simple and add to them as you go along. You can also change the charts as you need to.

It's great to see you coming so far already...these steps do have healing in them. It's up to us to allow God to work through them, to show us who He knows we are.

Keep up the good work.

luv ya

Hello again brother

Nothing gives me more joy than , upon awakening , saying "Morning Lord , what you got for me today" and the first thing He shows me is another taking another step forward and get closer to the Light amid the turmoil and calamity that the world deals us with .

Like our Lord did , no matter how much pain he was was dealt with from His beatings , mockery , disappointments , and humiliations , He still carried that Cross of His up that hill one agonizing step after the other , for He knew He was walking toward Glory , and with His sight fixed on the Glory , all that pain and the suffering meant nothing to Him , He just kept on trudging one step at a time , till He got His Glory .

Nothing , absolutely nothing , happens in God's world by mistake .
I too was a victim of misguided "suggestions" by , though well meaning , but nevertheless people misguided themselves , to seek "professional counseling" , but for my disappointment (and empty wallet later) that the only thing "professional" stood for was that I had to pay for it , whether I was going to get answers or not was not in the equation ! All I knew was that something was missing in my heart and life that was making me forever incomplete that set me off looking all over for that "missing" piece , I just didn't know what it was I was looking for ! God was at the very bottom of my list , if He was there at all , I simply could not see Him . But , He was the last thing I tried , the first thing that worked !

When I expressed my complaint as to why He didn't let me know before going through all "suffering" , His answer to me was , "Faith is a dime a dozen for me , anyone can have faith , but I want a Strong Faith , and that can only be accomplished by Seeking (works)"

See , He knew all the futility of all the other efforts , but I didn't , but , with Him putting me in that position(s) to find out first hand by experience , the next guy that comes along I will be in better shape to carry him to the Light directly .

Glad to see you again , keep up the good work brother
luv ya

Hey Wonder *hug*

As i read your post this morning i was reminded of the following verses in the bible. I believe the God can work through professional councelors as He sees fit, but, the spirit of the Lord communes with the spirits within us. He knows what we need better than any human carnal thinking man does.

Romans 8:27
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

1 Corinthians 2:12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1 Corinthians 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Thats not to say that if someone needs medication for certain conditions that they should stop taking them. God uses them, too, to heal. However, seeking His truth plants seeds of truth that work against the enemy's tools planted within our minds.

Keep goin, bro. He has sooo much more to show you! woohooo! He is awesome and mighty to save!

in Jesus,
luv momo *Halo*
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.
