Healing path day 3
Today i decided to post my journal on line, yes on day three. I want to be accountable and also want to receive the blessing of others with prayer and guidance on this journey. I am so glad to find the community here and this 14 day study. I can see my garden of life and the flowers and the weeds I have sown in that garden. Walking with God for a portion of my life, and walking with the world the majority of my life.
By Gods Grace I have a opportunity to turn my life around, and start living for the Lord again. I have stumbled many times and carry a lot of shame and guilt. To the point of doing very little because of the disappointment of my own actions. But I have to finish the race and need the help, hope and love of the Lord to carry me through. So for today I am choosing to believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, sins that I may not be able to forget, but to learn and grow from the past. I pray for the Lord to give me a new heart and to feel his loving presence in my life.

I don't think you'll regret posting journals. We've all stumbled. Our guilt may play a part in keeping us distant from God. I'll be praying for you. I pray that you can find the courage to receive forgiveness and cast away shame and guilt. (I'm going through this too.) Let God reign.
