sweet sister the "what ifs..." can get us. And bind us with fear. Robing todays joy and peace.

Recognize this as what it is, attacks of the enemy. Remember fear is not from God but from the enemy.

Continue to stand firm and lean on Jesus. Here for you when you need an ear or a shoulder.

Praying for you still.

You are doing beautifully. You are an example to others.

Gods will be done in all this.

luv ya *hug*

Hi, Pamela!

Good to see the update. :)

I am a cancer survivor since Dec 08. They wanted to give me chemo, but no insurance. Have to trust the Lord for my outcome.

I, too, am angry, depressed, fearful, etc. at times. You have it right on.
Trust is all we can do, and ask Jesus for continued and expanded faith. Sometimes I am surprised/concerned just what He has given me to go through, with His confidence in me (He will not give us more than we can bear...(!).

Hi Pamela *hug*

You are in my thoughts as you begin radiation therapy. Although I've never been through what you are currently dealing with, I can imagine your fears and emotions. We all have them. What is different with you, is your intense trust in God to carry you through. Some people let their fears overwhelm them...and honestly, "cancer" is a very scary word. Many who are diagnosed with some form of cancer, immediately think it's a death sentence and just give up. I applaud you for your strength and trust in the Lord. You are setting a wonderful example for others dealing with this, and I believe that God is very proud of you for your faithfulness.

You have my support all of the way. Thanks for sharing, dear.
God bless you...

Hello, my brothers and sisters in Christ!

After only half my Radiation treatments, our God of love and mercy, who has healing in His wings---healed me of cancer! Join me in rejoicing and praising and thanking Him from my new, pure, loving true Christian heart!

Last night, He audibly told me I was healed of every illness with which I'd been afflicted: advanced breast cancer; grand mal seizure disorder which I've had since birth. Seizures 100 percent controlled on Dilantin/Phenytoin since 1968!

Our Lord also healed me of high blood pressure. I still faithfully take all my prescribed meds, for this is His will concerning me. He moved me to the center of His will. He loves me, He loves us all dearly, gently and tenderly.

Love in Christ-------our Lord and Savior and Messiah----

This is a brief update as to what is going on with me.

Medically---my Radiation treatments have been temporarily halted. This is because a very large, draining seroma formed on the mastectomy scar. Per my surgeon's orders, I go daily to the County Regional Medical Center's ER Department. There I have the open wound unpacked and repacked with gauze saturated in Bacitracin, an antibiotic. In addition, I take Cephalexin. So far, all is going exceptionally well, praise our Lord! He cares for me gently and tenderly, often through a hospital employee who is a Christian!

Spiritually---I cannot put into words all that is going on with me spiritually! God is revealing truths to me which I have never before understood. I say this in humility, NOT pride.

Our Lord fills me with His joy daily! I have never experienced this in my entire Christian walk, which now spans over THREE DECADES!

I know many of you are experiencing similar things spiritually. It is a miracle from God!

"For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7

Love and hugs to all in Jesus----------

Yesterday, February 10, 2010 was my LAST radiation treatment at Loma Linda University Medical Center! 6 weeks, 5 days a week---done!

How I thank and praise our Lord for getting me through this!

My oncologist is ordering a PET/CT scan of my brain and "eyes to thighs" as he called it in a few weeks. The vertigo/dizziness is ongoing and has been present for 13 months now. Also, the night of Jan. 6, 2010, I had approximately 6 grand mal seizure auras. I had not had any auras in 32 consecutive years. On my Mom's side of the family, both she and her Irish grandmother died of brain tumors.

Soon I will be started on a chemo pill called "Arimidex" and will be on this chemo med for 5 years. I pray there are no adverse side effects or interactions with my other meds.

Need prayer:

1. That the "cave wound" in my chest would heal so I can eventually have the wound vac removed.

2. That whatever the results of the PET/CT scan, God would prepare me.

Thank you all so much!

Love & hugs in Jesus----------

Oh, Pamela! That's such good news! I pray that the rest of the tests are good news, too! And that our Lord would be with you, comfort and keep you, no matter what.
