Day 5- My wife and I together

Postby merendarrin » Sat Nov 21, 2009 11:14 pm

The title of today's post is: "Going Rogue".....(not an original one, is it??)

For those of you who have been following our posts, sorry this one is so late in the day. We ended up a little off schedule today.

The reason we are "Going Rogue" is this: after reading todays lesson about "the problem", we realized that there are SEVERAL problems and not just one. We saw the chart near the bottom of the study and both of us know that we need to read more than one of the separate studies to get through this, the "nitty gritty." I hope none of you mind, and I don't mean to set a new pattern or anything. We just really need to see us for who we are.

I don't have a whole lot of insight today, and maybe it's because it's late and I've been in the kitchen working all day. I need to keep my usual schedule. But Mere and I are going to continue this study, this step Five, until we work through each of our issues, and then move to step 6. We'll continue to write and think out loud.

I am so thankful that I've a partner that desires to be closer to the Lord, and to me. She really is a treasure that multiplies my worth immeasurably. Hope you all have a great weekend.

GBU,
Meredith and Darrin

Meredith and Darrin,

I must say, I think this is wonderful that you both have decided to work through each of your problem issues in the chart before stepping forward. This will bring about growing and healing in areas that you two are lacking in your relationship with the Lord. This will also build strength in your marriage.....

Looking forward to reading your shared thoughts as you go along.

luv ya
