This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Hi,

I'm still here. Somtimes into things and places I shouldn't be. But not as often, so I think that is good.

I still correspond with some people. But it's changing too. Different boundaries . . . I really can't explain everything. I can't. It's just different and I think it's good.

I'm not hurting anyone, that I am aware of. And I'm not hurting myself either. I think it's good.

I've read my Bible 3 to 4 times in the last 48 hours. I think it's good.

Overall, I'm still struggling. but at least I haven't given up . . . so perhaps that is good too.

I'll keep struggling, okay?

I'll continue to post when I can, also. I'm still hesitant of all that I am dealing with regard to sharing details. but, I want to protect myself. And I think that is good too.

Hey Whispering-sis

Know what I have found? Being REAL often makes others uncomfortable, but it is something they so often need - ONE other person being real who and what they are about and I have found that those who get uncomfortable are often those that are confronted about their own issues and things.

No-one in here will push you to share when you aren't ready, but I think you will find that so often, when you decide to share even something small, someone else in here would have gone through the same thing, or something similar.

Those who haven't gone through the same thing, will pray. It's that simple. If I ever see you in chat somewhere, I would love to share my story with you.

Hope to see you soon!

Have you *Glomp2* someone today??

Thank you for all your support, everyone. It really does help.

I am pretty ashamed that I am even in this mess. I've been a Christian for a long time.

I probably won't go to the chat room, it's nothing personal at all. I . . . don't know.

Anyway, I'm doing well. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have someone hold me accountable, who doesn't know me. Who woudn't necessarily be hurt, angered or disappointed. Well, at least I hope not.

Apologies if the above revelation is a trigger for someone. I'm sorry. I really am.

whispering sis, no apologies needed.

You know sis, Christians go through lots of trials and temptations. It's because the enemy comes at us even harder when we are saved in an attempt to steal our souls. The thing you have to know is that he wants you to keep all that you are going through in the darkness and not bring it out into the Light. But...Jesus says bring it to the Light so I can heal you of these temptations and strengthen your soul.

Sis, if you ever want to share via private messaging, I'm here to listen.

luv ya *hug*
