Still alcohol free... But during the week its easy for me not to drink cause I am so busy and so tired by the time I get home. Its the weekends that I struggle a lot... My 21st B-Day is 61 days away...

Angelbaby , I read these words and the only thing I could do was to go to my God and express my acknowledgement of His Awsomeness .

You may not realize it now and better yet without you intending it , but for a person like me to hear those words from you , spells nothing less than a miracle . For now I know my prayers had been answered (remember the "talk" in chat 2 days ago ? ) .

Its the weekends that I struggle a lot...

Angel , let me offer a tip if I may , whatever it is that you did or are doing to keep you alcohol free for today , if you were to do it again tomorrow , it will be two days . (quite smart of me huh ? rofl

)

Keep up the good work girl , and dont worry about the weekend yet , its not here ! We cross that bridge when we get to it !

So weekends are tough huh? Keeping yourself busy with the Lord may be a way to help you through the weekend. Come here to the Oasis sis, and join in the fellowship with others. We will be here for you.

Still Alcohol free although I am itchin for a drink... Really overly stressed right now with school... Haven't been eating much at all and started taking diet pills again well have been for a while...

School can be so stressful.

The work and pressure from the teachers can be overwhelming.

Yet the peer pressure can seem to suffocate.

Don't concern yourself with others and what they think of you. There will always be someone with an opinion. What is important is not their opinion but Gods.

Not letting peers pressure you is a freeing feeling.

Does your school offer an after school program to help with studies?

Hello Angel

Everyday I see you post makes my day a bit brighter , for that I thank you , even when you say "itching" makes the grin turn to a smile .

The reason we "itch" is beacause we havn't taken that drink yet right ?
We dont take that first drink , we dont have to worry about the next one .

It is very normal for us to "think" about a drink , I mean , birds fly , fish swim , and drunks drink ! that's normal, and there's absolutely nothing wrong in the picture . What I need to do is try to see past that . Play the tape to the end , dont just pick up a nice base line here and a drum rythm there . The trick I used to use was , I'd say to myself "yes , ONE drink would be nice , but look at where that One drink got me the last time "

H.A.L.T.

Hungry - Eat , (diet pills = not eating)
Angry - Pray (school stressing me out)
Lonely - Talk ( Isolating from school crowd , because of stress)
Tired - Rest (the missing ingredient ) IN THE LORD

Just because I think about a drink , it doesn't mean I have to drink it .

One more day for the Gipper Angel , keep up the good work , who knows , I may need another smile tomorrow .
