Sept 23 - One day at a time
"For your Maker is your husband the Lord almighty is His name, the Holy one of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the earth."
(Isaiah 54:5)
God gave me this verse yesterday. So I prayed and asked Jesus to clear up the problem with my husbands medical insurance not paying the bill from the night he died.
Sure enough, within minutes the thought came into my head to call the office that he paid the bill to and not the 800 number (where you get a computer) In minutes it was cleared up.
Then my friend Harry who is an associate Pastor at my church told me he thought that when I cried I was thinking it was a weakness and not the way of healing the wound inside me. I agreed with him. I think crying is not handling things.
So I told my kids, don't come running every time I cry. I am going to cry.
Harry also said that the above verse was a good one for me. (God knows what Hes doing)
I need to go to Jesus my husband with everything. Let Him handle things. And stop thinking about the negative that my hubby handled all this stuff that I never have done.
Thank you for your prayers
Sassy thank you for your advice.
Today I had my stress test. Tomorrow an Ecocardiogram. Then in a week and a half I have the surgery. After the radiation is done I want to volunteer some where so I am praying about that.
I am not dreaming about Gary. But I am dreaming about working with kids. I am having that dream a lot.
Jesus Loves me. This I know. For the bible tells me so.
