In addition to, when we conform ourselves of this world, we are destined to be unhappy and never satisfied. I believe you are referring to:

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Yes, this is a daily process as we are busy people. But I have never found happiness that lasted in the world. It always fades away.

Being transformed is a daily process and God honors those who try to do better. Little baby steps with a humble heart.

It took God's chastisement for me to recognize this is the True way to live.
Life is more full when I try to live as He would like for me to.
It takes His help as He is in me as I am His child striving to do better each day, falling short. But I try.
I am a much better person today than I was a few years ago.
