I love loving Christ. This is such a beautiful relationship, and I can feel it growing stronger each day. My bretheren I wish to study him, and be with him constantly, and there are so many distractions. The kids, work, the "honey-do" list haha. I am so grateful, and I cant wait to have eternity to spend together. ETERNITY is a very long time, and in comparison our lives are but a blip. Such a short test, and we run around like ants scrambling to get nowhere. What a wicked trap. And we set the trap on ourselves. Why can everyone not see how we do this to ourselves. Everyone cares about money, posessions, carnal impulses. What is our society becoming? I am so glad that there is hope in CHRIST and that no matter how far this world's curroption may fall to the evil one, HE CAN NOT TAKE AWAY THE GOOD WORD, the TESTIMONY of GOD. we will always be able to share the good news and be a vessel for the will of our lord. :P

I love the lord, and I love you all bretheren.

You know cloud I was just sharing about this tonight. It Ain't About Us. Many people place other things or people before God. Then when things aren't going the way they expect them to, they wonder why...even to the point of blaming God for what is happening to them. Our society is becoming a puppet for the enemy...but we have a choice not to be a part of that society. We can choose to be peculiar. It's definitely good to be different.

luv ya

Ok, so you can minister to us and others, while you go through things and get help.

For being head of your children and wife, I think of "nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3)

And here is what our Apostle Paul shares about how he reached to people for Christ >

"For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;
and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews;
to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;
to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;
to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak.
I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some."

(1 Corinthians 9:19-22)

So, in reaching to different people, it looks to me like Paul would relate at the level of those he was trying to reach . . . but without compromising what is right. And then he would labor to bring them up to God's level, I can see. Jesus did this, by coming to this earth as a human being . . . living at our level, "yet without sin," we have in Hebrews 4:15. He went through things of this life so now He can feel for us and help us with how He got through it all, according to how I understand Hebrews 4:15.

So, as you find out how to take care of your wife and marriage and children in God's Family way, now you can help others. This is part of being in Jesus Christ's priesthood > that we go through things so we can understand and help others, from our own experience with God.

So . . . welcome to the priesthood of Christ (o:

Hello Cloudstrife :)

It's so cool to read your posts, very uplifting and full of hope. Awesome!

Your post reminded me of a song by Nicol Smith Sponberg called:

'Last Long Time" the lyrics are below.

God bless you, Cloudstrife.
In His love,
Mack

Lately, Ive been thinking
About how I spend my time
In a hurry, always worried
And if I caught up I'd still be behind
I've spent too many days and nights
Chasing the wind
Just running so hard to stand still

Chorus
When was the last long time
The last long time
When was the last long time
I spent with You
Oh it seems like forever
I need to talk to You
Lord, when was the last long time

Lately, I'm short of feelings
There's this longing deep inside
To be near You
I can hear You
And I miss our time alone
I've spent too much time
Not trying to find
A way to get closer to You

Repeat Chorus

You offer me peace
Beyond understanding
You're just waiting for me
And I know I could find
All the love that I'm missing
If I spent more time on my knees

Oh, be still and know
Be still and know

Repeat Chorus

Amen Cloud.
So good to hear when others desire to be with the Lord so fully.
Becareful to treat those that hinder your time with the Lord and in his word with gentleness and not frustration because you didn't get your time.
That can be a harmful trap to the family.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
