A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief."

Postby foreverHis » Tue May 19, 2009 7:48 pm

The Lord is acquainted with grief,
He knows sorrow.
He can relate to our sorrows and sadness.
"He was despised,.... and rejected by men"
Isaiah 53:3
He knows how it feels to be rejected or despised.
Today let's pause to praise Him who can relate to us
in anything we are going through.
Let's praise Him who though He was despised,
He was not defeated.
Let's praise Him who though He was acquainted with grief,
He was not overcome by it.
Let's praise Him who though He was rejected by men,
He conquered all.

Dear Lord, I pause to praise You today
as a Man of Sorrows.
One who can relate to my sorrows and pain.
One who can be compassionate to my grief.
One who can help me overcome my defeats.
One who can help me in the face of rejection.
One who can help me in all things I think, say and do.
I pause to praise You today
and give You thanks
for all You went through
and all You became!

God loves and understands all..

*Amen2*
My resolution for today, next month, and years to come is to be further from the world and closer to the Word.

Amen
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
