3/14 on my way to the lord

Postby cl0udstr1fe » Sat May 16, 2009 10:03 am

I am so blessed! I realize now that I need to cherish small miracles in my life. God's grace and wisdom have been leaving me in awe lately. Our lord is so good, and anything is possible through faith in him. It is awefully tempting to go to step 4, but patience is a virtue. And I will wait for the lord with all the patience I can muster. My only want today is that you lord will lead my heart and mind that I may be a vessel of your will. In fact, thtas all I want for my future! I know the lord would not put a burden on me that I cannot bear, so I will gladly shoulder my cross. I cannot thank god enough, and in turn I want to thank all of you ( my brothers and sisters) for your kind words of guidance. Those words, and the lord's grace have been a great comfort to me. My thought for the day: Love the lord with all your heart mind and soul. I will focus on God who promises forgiveness and everlasting life in him, and not on the worldly events which promise only sin and pain.

I will continue to pray that god watch over us as I continue on my journey with HIM.

Cloud that is such a great thought. Leaving all the worldly things behind, and focusing on God and His love. This will bring peace to your day, and you will feel as things are finally being lifted off your shoulders.

Also, be patient, and don't move to the next step until it is time. You will rob yourself of the blessings that God has in store for you. Keep soaking up God's guidance in each of the steps.

Take care and God Bless

Thank you very much! I will wait till tomorrow *Rapture*

I definitely have felt the pressure lifting off of my shoulders. I am shocked just how quickly I am feeling better. I a m only on step three, yet the lord has granted me much peace and joy in my heart. I must admit, I can feel the evil one pulling at me and trying to pull me away form my efforts at connecting with god, and it feels so good to resist him and place my faith with the lord. This is quite an internal struggle. I am much better for it. I am also for the most part able to control my thoughts, even when my wife yelled at me this morning, I managed to keep my mind on god. I am not righting this to brag, simply to show anyone who is reading throught this Counseling forum that even after only three days, I am already seeing great progress and am wholeheartedly encouraged to continue :)

I love you all!

Hello Cloudstrife,

Don't you just love the hope He gives us?!!! Wooooohooooo!

You are on a very special journey with The Lord. He has so much to show you, teach you and share with you. The power to overcome that you have now been introduced to continues to grow as your relationship with our Lord grows. It is awesome, dear brother -- absolutely awesome!!!

I'm enjoying that you are sharing this blessed journey with us. Thank you.

God bless you, Cloudstrife.
In His love,
Sister Mack

Awww cloud and now you are beginning to see that noone can take your joy of the Lord from you...noone. Yes sometimes we give it away by letting things effect us, but when your wife yelled, this time you chose to keep your joy. Jesus is proud of you.

Take Care and God Bless
