Writing this more out of sense of duty than anything else .
I read day 2 earlier this morn , got ready for my day , but somebody had other ideas of how I should spend it I guess , the rest should be history , but "history" is just not happening right now !

I'm just glad I have what I have , and what I have is nothing less than what I had learnt from the times I'm spending both here and my other prog. that God is much bigger than the probs. i'm facing through other people's ignorance ( yes, I can say that now , and w/complete confidence, at that ! ) and also is much bigger those people themselves , but for some reason or other , just simply could not shake them off of me even by "giving" them what they WANT to hear !

But , just for the sake of anyone reading this forum or post for hope and enlightenment , here it is . If there ever was a day since my very first day of sobriety when I met God 10 yrs ago , that would have me resort to my old self and behaviours it was today , and to be telling the truth , there was a brief moment that I realy entertained that idea !

But ONLY by the Grace of my newfound FRIEND Whom I call God , coupled with my readings this morning here @ OASIS and by putting to practice the 1st stp of the other prog. "that not only am I powerless over my own addictive behaviours but also someone else's" . That I am here , typing this post instead of being either in jail or hospital is living proof of what this prog. can do to a man and/or woman . If I can do it , Any one can do it !! Just keep your eyes on the Beam !

vahn, when you have struggles you shouldn't try and bear them alone. You need not only to lean on Jesus, but to seek out a fellow brother or sister and Christ, and let them help carry your struggles as well. That's what we are here for.

I'm sorry, you are having one of those days, but know I'm here for you, and Jesus is proud of you for fighting off temptation and fighting on ahead. I'm here for ya. Praying for you.

Thanx mlg , and the entire OASIS family , but first , of course my thanx be to God , for it is my firm belief that He already KNEW about this day , long before any of us anticipated it , that's why He prepared OASIS family, to help prepare me !

I am not, "per se" having a "bad day" , I am simply angry at this one individual , who , knowing how I feel about the situation created and knowing of what my reaction would be , went ahead and just did it ! I simply let them have it - "their way" !!

OK - I'm on a roll now - The "boyfriend" or whoever he is of my X shows up at my doorstep today , out of the blue , right ? , I mean I dont even know who the clown is , with a big box of something ( which turned out to be a big-screen monitor) asking for Jackie , upon me asking him who he was , he's like , " could u just get her out here , she knows who I am" well , I dont think I need to say of what ensued next !
Yep , commotion , Jackie's out , "Oh , it's bob , is mom w/u ? " " No , we're on our way to Fla. thought we'd stop and drop this off 4 u "
Ok "you take this & u kno what to do w/it , show up at my door step again I wont b responsible 4 my action "
Jackie says couple of things , calm me down , BUT -- "Where's the reciept " well this well that , "let me write down ss# be right back " "another word from u till then " and guess what ? I heard a word !!
Base ball bat , custom shaped monitor later , do you think they'd get the drift ? 911 (Jackie) they get him off my property , tell him not 2 come back.
Half hr. later phone rings and i'm "invited" .

"Just tell me where, and where" " IT"S SHOWTIME"

But I'm still typing !!

Who do you think I should thank first ?

Vahn my friend I just wanna take and wrap you up in a big hug. The fact that you were tested, but you know what you ARE still here and typing. Remember when they came to take Jesus away and Peter cut off the soldier's ear? Remember when Jesus said no that's not the way, and Jesus healed the soldier's ear? That's because Jesus way is better than the way our flesh wants to react. I'm proud of you my friend. I'm sorry you had to encounter this today, and I pray that you are careful when you tell your daughter what happened, so as to not cause her more pain than her mom already has. Love her my friend. She needs you.

I got behind on some posts so I'm not sure I understand who is who and who did what in the story but it sure sounds like it wasn't a very fun time.
