hmm I was told by my x I was being selfish for divorcing and walking away.what am finding out is that, am not selfish the bad thing that I did was close my eyes to and allow him to step all over me. in my whole 23 years with I felt fear of when the next time he would fly off the handle this was every weeken. Now that I am no longer the door mat I can say I love my life. I would like my daughter to be with me. but that is a choice that I leave up to her. I will always be there for my kids. the best thing id they don't blame me for divorcing their dad. And I know God is always protecting and watching them full trust in my Father. Bonnie, it's so good to see the happiness you have found in the Lord. The past is an experience that you had to go through sis, but in the end you have now the greatest of gifts...Joy in the Lord. Keep up the good fight sis. Don't let the ex get to you. He is angry and is just trying to make you miserable and upset. Just love your ex like Jesus would and forgive him and pray for him and move forward.

luv ya sis

bon-bon,

Sounds to me like your ex has some deep-rooted issues (we all do) but I do not believe that Jesus would want a daughter of His to endure that kind of treatment in a marriage. I am so glad you are feeling Love from God and He has set you free which is great. And sounds like He has given you much wisdom on your situation.

Just remember all of us on here luv ya and you're doing great!! *Cheer*
