The Magnificent and Dynamic Power in the Blood of the Lamb
Hello Christianity Oasis, All...
Blessings!
Some Bible subjects are so vast that books and books and books must be written about them in order to give the reader a complete picture of their value...such is the case with the Blood of the Lamb. It honestly is everything to us...there is literally no end to its benefits...the very reason for us to continually be mindful of its purchasing power.
First of all, the sprinkling of the Blood of the Lamb on the Mercy Seat in front of the Throne of Almighty God, obtained eternal salvation for us. That Blood was the payment justice demanded as the price for our redemption. Heb.9
[12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Not temporarily, not for just a few, but for all...God Almighty Himself purchased our salvation with the Blood of His only begotten Son! Just think about it...just how powerful is it? It is so immeasurably powerful that in all of the Book of Revelation it is only the Blood of the Cross of our Lord coupled with our testimony of our salvation through it, that keeps us free from the deception and dominion of the antichrist. It is our guarantee of salvation in the midst of the most terrifying ordeal all hell can bring upon us!
Heb.13 [20] Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
[21] Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
What a wonderful message this is to us, that God works through the blood of the everlasting covenant to make us perfect in every good work to do His will, working in us that which is wellpleasing in His sight! Now some might argue that the phrase through the blood of the everlasting covenant only refers to what He did for Christ by raising Him from the dead...while others would argue that same phrase refers to God's working in us through the blood, I would argue that same phrase pertains in totality to Christ Jesus and to us because we are His Body and His Temple...and there are scriptures that witnesses to those assertions, but I will only post scriptures below that pertain to the purchasing power of the blood.
Eph.1 [17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
[18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
[19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
[20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places...
What a wonderful thing it is to be given the grace to know and understand just how great the power of God is that works within us through the Blood of the Lamb! Eph.3 [20] Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
[21] Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
We used to sing the following song by Lewis E. Jones almost every Sunday at church as I was growing up and I've never had a greater appreciation and understanding of it than I do now. Praise You Heavenly Father! Thank you so very, very much!
There is Power in the Blood
1 Would you be free from the burden of sin?
There's power in the blood, power in the blood;
Would you o'er evil a victory win?
There's wonderful power in the blood.
Chorus:
There is power, power, wonder-working power
In the blood of the Lamb.
There is power, power, wonder-working power
In the precious blood of the Lamb.
Eph.2:[13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
The past couple of months here have been SUPER in the Lord! Praise His Holy Name! I've been enjoying Kingdom living through the Blood of the Lord, where daily I enter into the Throne Room of Mercy and Grace and fellowship with both the Father and the Son, also offering prayers for many as a servant priest, all made possible because the wall of partition that once separated us from God in the Holy of Holies and Blood of Atonement, at the death of Christ on the Cross, was wrent from top to bottom giving us access to the grace wherein we now stand.
1John.1
[3] That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
Rev.1
[6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Blessings

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
