Matthew 13 Verse 3 Part Two; Puberty and Beyond
Hello Christianity Oasis, All...
Blessings!
After puberty struck it took about three years for my mind to begin functioning right again...just in time to turn 16, get my driver's license, and within a couple of weeks, have a roll-over accident where I was ejected from the car. I was knocked out just long enough to see the light at the end of the tunnel. My only known injuries at the time were some scratches on my face. Since they didn't have such a thing as concussion protocol back then I may have suffered one of those, but then again I didn't have symptoms consistent with athletes that get concussions these days so most likely not. I was, however, impressed with how quickly the scratches on my face cleared up. I had no doubt those scratches cleared up as quickly as they did because I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.
Around that same time I and others were selected to be junior deacons at my church. That, coupled with seeing the light at the end of the tunnel helped me gain a new-found respect for Sunday services, and I continued attending Sunday services even after I left my home town for college...but then fast forward three years...during the Summer after graduating from college a good friend of mine gave me a call and asked me to help him service the convenience stores he made the rounds to stocking shelves. We had worked together serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the dorm we were housed in at our university. My assignment was to build stands and stock them with tennis shoes while he carried out his normal duties. What I didn't know at the time was just how very, very much that job was God at work in my life, but then there was that one day.
On a stand similar to those I was building and stocking I came upon Hal Lindsey's book, "The Late Great Planet Earth." I had no idea our planet was in grave danger!!!
End, Part Two.
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
