Re: Who, What, or Where AM I? Bible Game
Hello Everyone
God bless you this day.
Mark 13:32-33
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Also...
Matthew 24:43-44
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Also...
Mark 13:35-37
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Thank You Lord for Your Word!
Who wrote down (penned), by inspiration of The Holy Spirit, the blessed events of The Book of Revelation, and where was this person when the "revelation" was given?
God bless and keep you,

Helloooo Everyone
God bless you this day.
Noah took 2 trunks and carrion. ba duh bump ching! olololololol
But seriously...
Genesis 7:7-9
7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of ever thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
The specific numbers of pairs per type as per God's instruction can be found in Genesis 7:2-3
2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
Thank You Jesus
What and where is Abraham's bosom, and where in The Bible does it tell of this place?
God bless and keep you,

Re: Who, What, or Where AM I? Bible Game
Abraham's Bosom is mentioned in the Gospel of Luke 16:22. The full story as told by Jesus, Himself, can be read in Luke 16:19-31. It is a fascinating account of when we die and where we go: which one of two places the deceased will go? A blessed read.
When Jesus was on the cross, between the two thieves, and the one thief who feared God and admonished the other for his unbelief. He also said: Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
To which Jesus responded: Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Hmmmmm, might Abraham's Bosom and Paradise be the same place? Interesting thought.
Also, remember the brief story that the Apostle Paul mentioned in II Corinthians 12:1-4 in which Paul tells of a man that was caught up to the third heaven (see verse 2) and then goes on to call this same place "paradise" (see verse 4).
Hmmmmmm. Interesting thought.
I think Abraham's Bosom is where those who sought and followed The Lord while they lived on earth go when their human bodies die. I believe Abraham's Bosom is our temporary resting place until time of the blessed resurrection. I also believe that it is spiritual place in another realm seen only supernaturally when deemed by God -- not by the natural human eye.
So too, I believe the place of torment also mentioned in Luke 16:19-31 is a spiritual place, but not a place any should desire to go. I recall also, reading in Isaiah 66: 22-24 that gives a similar account of being able to look on or view those in torment -- (similar to what is said in Luke 16:19-31).
It is so interesting and blessed to be able to meditate on The Word of God.
There is also a wonderful study on this site entitled "Abraham's Bosom". Here is the link: http://www.christianityoasis.com/keywor ... sBosom.htm
Next question:
what is the last book of The Old Testament?
God bless you,

Re: Who, What, or Where AM I? Bible Game
Hello Mlg (((hugs))) and Everyone
God bless you this day.
Interesting question, Mlg, and an awesome topic to discuss. While there are several scriptures in The Bible about women who are with child or pregnant during The End Times, or the time of great tribulation, I'm not sure which one to mention, so I'll mention them all.
Matthew 24:19
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Luke 21:23
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Revelation 12:1-5
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
It is my understanding that those scriptures (listed above) in Matthew and Luke pertain to pregnant women on earth at the time of the great tribulation. And the scriptures (listed above) in Revelation pertain to the Church being the woman/mother that gave birth to the Saints (Believers and Followers of Christ Jesus) who are on the earth during the great tribulation.
Addendum: My comment about Revelation 12:1-5 was incomplete as typed above. So I'm adding the following. In all honesty, I don't feel 100 percent sure about who the woman is. Israel was oft referred to an a female, perhaps even a mother, but as far as Christians -- Christians weren't really referred as a "she", except the church is described as the bride of Jesus. But, I don't recall the church being referred to as a mother. Soooooo, I continue to meditate on that blessed portion of scripture for understanding. If anyone feels led to share, I hope they will.
(Please forgive all the addendums and edits, my computer and my concentration is being challenged.)
By the way there is a truly blessed study on this site about The End Times. It is very lengthy, but well worth the investment of time to read it through. Here is a link: http://www.christianityoasis.com/EndTim ... efault.htm
Question: Are there any Bible scriptures that predict(ed) all the "natural disasters" (earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, etc.) experienced all around the world during this time/generation?
God bless us all

Hello Everyone
God bless you this day.
Luke 21:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
(See also: Matthew 24:7, Mark 13:8)
Luke 21:25-26 King James Version (KJV)
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Something Interesting I read the other day: the eclipse of the sun was on August 21, and Hurricane Harvey hit Houston on the August 25, resulting in flooding on August 26.
New question: Who does the Apostle Paul say will judge angels?
God bless you all.

Re: Who, What, or Where AM I? Bible Game
Hello Notforgotten and Everyone
God bless you this day.
Notforgotten, I think your computer may have hiccupped or something, because it sort of morphed two separate scriptures into one.
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
I Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
While both scriptures are the awesome Word of God and a blessing to meditate on, Thank You Jesus, neither applies to my question posed on September 22, 2017: " Who does the Apostle Paul say will judge angels?"
The answer can be found in 1 Corinthians 6:2-3
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
Awesome Word of God! Thank You Jesus
Notforgotten's question: What does Jesus hold the keys to?
My answer is to the Kingdom of Heaven, and to hell and death.
Matthew 16:19King James Version (KJV)
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Revelation 1:18King James Version (KJV)
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Now, on to the next question: Who is the scripture talking about when it says "...thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."
God bless and keep you,
Mack

Re: Who, What, or Where AM I? Bible Game
I apologize for my error. I must have been having a bad day.
Your question: Who is the scripture talking about when it says "...thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."
Answer: Jesus, the Messiah.
If in Adam we all die, what will become of us in Christ?
