Christians and their log
There are Christians who are so into GAY bashing that it makes me cringe. It is written in Genesis 20 that a man is not to sleep with a man as like with a woman. So here it is clear that homosexual sexuality is wrong. No qualms about that. Now let us fast forward to where the Apostle Paul speaks to the Corinthians in one of the two letters addressed to them on the subject of marital status. The Apostle Paul tells them that living as a celibate is a good thing. However if as a celibate if
one can't control his members it is better that he marry and enjoy sex with his wife in a Godly way as opposed to a way that leads to unrighteousness as a celibate. This is indeed a righteous way of living according to the Scriptures. But here is the question: What happens if such a person defined in Genisis 20 above becomes a Born Again Christian in today's era and dispensation (NT), and starts going to a Christian assembly but is like the hetrosexual man who can't control his members if he remains celibate. The fact that this person is a homosexual means he/she does not benifit from the option granted to hetrosexuals, which is marraige. Homosexuals are not allowed to marry those they are attracted to sexually. Therefore it is up to them to control their members which they have an extremely hard time doing without any other option . They must remain celibate. So why is there so much GAY bashing against homosexuals? All THEY have to do is to keep their zipper closed, as one Christian put it. "Keep their zippers closed and they will be fine". And since it is presummed they can't the superiority complex of such hetrosexual Christians kicks in. But why do such Christians have a superiority complex? Because they are all right as hetrosexuals and are pleasing to God? Who is the better of the two: (A The homosexual Born Again Christian who has obtained control over his members without the option of marraige granted him/her or (B the hetrosexual who is righteous simply because he/she is married to a hetrosexual spouse with whom he/she can have sexual release in a godly manner, since the hetrosexual in question can't control their members without being married, because keeping the zipper closed for the hetrosexual just is not enough to enable the person "to be just fine"? Maybe it is me, but it seems as if many hetrosexual Christians are more then ready to take the speck out of their homosexual brother's eye while leaving the log in their eye that is much bigger then the other's speck. Isn't it written that one is to take the log out of their own eye so as to see clearly enough to take the speck out of the other's eye? So when it comes to homosexual Born Again Christians it appears to be hypocritical to expect the homosexuals to do what they, the hetrosexuals, can't do and thus marry. There are those who can control their members while remaining celibate. But what about the others who have to marry to be sexually righteous. How do they get off with the Gay bashing and superiority complex they have next to homosexual Born Again Christians who learned how to control their members without the option to marry a person they are attracted to sexually since that would constitute a homosexual marraige? A violation of Genisis 20 above. That type of hypocrisy I have a hard time swallowing. Is it therefore time for a select number of hetrosexual Christians to take that log out of their own individual eyes? For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him will have Eternal life. John 3:16 This verse does not find God discriminating against homosexuals. And if we are to put on "The mind of Jesus" ought that include greater compassion towards homosexuals and homosexuals in general? I'm not pointing fingers at anyone here as I hardly no anybody, and would still not point fingers if I did. But outside of this virtual world I know this unacceptable practice is committed by many hetrosexual Christians. And I find it horrific. Thanks for reading

Re: Christians and their log
I think one thing we as Christians should remember is that sin is sin. God does not weigh one sin greater than another. He sees a sin just as it is...a sin....we would all do well to remember this. God loves all...and He forgives all who ask....and love Jesus.
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Re: Christians and their log
And neither homosexual sexual sin nor hetrosexual sexual sin is in and of itself, what is defined as Blasphemy of the Holy spirit, the only unforgivable sin.
