God wants YOU. He wants your love and your companionship. God loves YOU. God sent his son to die so he wouldn't have to punish you. God doesn't want to punish you. He wants you to hang out with him. Please, don't be so afraid. God LOVES you.
Hugs,
Dema

Hi Shawn.

We've met briefly in chat. I have to say, I live with my folks also. I never expected to, but it has been mutually beneficial for us all, and I know this is where God wants me at this point.
I am also disabled, and have been for a number of years. I am also divorced.
None of that matters to God. He doesn't accept us based on our performance-- He accepts us based on Jesus' performance. Period. We can't earn anything, or pay for anything with guilt, shame, or remorse. Jesus did all that and more.
So, your slate is free and clear. Don't write all that stuff on it again...God says it's gone, and you're in a worry-free state.
Let God comfort and guide you with His Holy Spirit who lives within you. Take some time to get to know him intimately...this is what God truly desires....relationship. He can heal your spirit through time with His Spirit, and this spirit healing leads to soul and body healing...I have been there too.
God changed me from someone who lived by their emotions to someone sound and secure in Him, and through that, to my body responding positively. It has changed my entire life.
You can live secure in Jesus, and you don't have to get there overnight. God understands. God cares. He meets us where we are, no matter where we are.
Stop judging yourself, and expecting way too much from you. Let God set the course...and, the hardest thing--trust Him fully. He's not waiting to give you a beatdown for who you're not. His attitude towards you is mercy and grace, not anger or judgement for the position you find yourself in. There is no shame in where you are.

I am in my position out of no fault, it's just what life dealt. But the Spirit of God working in me has changed everything. That same Spirit is in YOU too. Let Him do His wonders, it is why He';s there...to love you back from the pit.

So, rest in the home of those who love you, your parents...love them back...take the meds when you need to...God doesn't judge that. Communicate with Him while you wait on man's disability process, God isn't disappointed in you. His love for you knows no bounds, and He will be there every step of the way.

I'm praying,
Kimberly
