Stepping Stone 11 "Surrender to the Lord
Stone 11 - John 14:16-18 "And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of TRUTH; whom the world can not receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: But ye knoweth Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you."
John 4:24 " God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth."
Do not quench the Holy Spirit by ignoring Him or denying Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 "Quench not the Spirit."
What a struggle with my selfish desires...I see that I have done this for soooo long and I am ashamed now because I see the graveness of my choices. And most of all I am living in the result of those choices.

You may be "living the result of those choices," but thank God Jesus died for us. We don't need to be ashamed by any guilt anymore. You are forgiven. You are living the result, but not alone. God is with you and He'll show you the way. Actions have consequences. Your actions have consequences. At the same time, the Cross carries consequences too. You can be free from guilt and be strengthened by God.

Hello Heart2Instruction
God bless you this day.
I agree with what Itsjanet shared, so lay the guilt down, it is no longer yours to carry. Now that you know Truth, repent and then move on in the liberty/freedom in Christ Jesus.
II Corinthians 7:9-10 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. (10) For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented (regretted) of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
It is important that when we learn a new Truth that we embrace it to the good. Celebrate it, celebrate Him. Don't let those past offense(s) that you've now repented of leave their mark on you, as if to mark with a scarlet letter on your chest -- leaving you downcast that you are still unusable by The Lord -- sorrowing as the world does which worketh death. Instead, sorrow unto repentance and be renewed. Thank The Lord \o/ \o/ \o/ Praise His Holy Name! Thank You Jesus!
Continue on with the Stepping Stones, you are doing well, Heart2Instruction.
God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
