Why Lord?

Postby Bluexandee » Sun Aug 26, 2012 4:34 pm

When your parents dump dustbin bags of your personal stuff on your doorstep while you are on holiday - things like cards you made them as a little girl. photos you had done for them of your child, your wedding - cos they are moving it feels like they have just dumped you & your family in that bag. Like they dont want to know you anymore. Plus they dont even tell you they are moving - your sister tells you. So you dont have a phone number or address now for them.
When they forget your birthday, even though they are reminded & you dont even get a card.
When your friend is so sick & in so much pain.
When your eyesight is severly affected through a freak of nature.
WHY?
How many times do I keep believing & trying to accept it is God's will? WHY?

Hi,

I have recently went through a very similar situation. I tortured myself for weeks by trying to figure everything out and wondering when things were going to change. I finally received relief once I decided to stop trying to figure everything out and let go and let God! He already has it worked out for you. Sometimes we have to go through in order to get where it is that he wants us to be. There is a special blessing in being broken because it often brings us closer to God. And when we are in the wilderness, always remember that we are at the mercy of The Father. As long as we have The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We have to trust God to do the work on our behalf. And the Lord will grant you peace. The is no other feeling like surrending to The Holy Spirit. Good look on your path and this 14 day program is truly a blessing. God bless and my prayers are with you, friend.

I am sorry for your pain. I wish I could wipe it away. If me being only human hurts for you how much greater the Fathers grieving over your situation is.

He loves you! He doesn't want you to suffer. In a short while we'll all be home and all this will be washed away. Keep the faith sister!
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
