Day 12

Postby grandma dolittle » Fri Jun 29, 2012 8:45 pm

The last couple of days I have been ill and not able to be on the computer. That plus I got scammed. Luckly, my son called and I was telling him about it and he quickly too care of it. All I lost was $80, which is a lot to me, but Thank God, it could have been my whole monthly retirement!

We have a nasty heat wave along with many others across the US. All my flowers that I planted last fall and this spring, that I lovelingly tended, are drying. A friend and I were talking aboout the temps of 105 today and for the next week and decided we wouldn't worry about it because, "This is the day God hath made, we will rejoice in it and be glad." (My grandson is looking over my shoulder as I write and comments on my last statement "as long as we have AC.")
To get back to my thought, the Amish here have a saying , "to worry means you don't think God is big enought to take care of things." I like that thought. My God is awesome and big enough to handle anything. All things are possible with him. *Clap*
Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I John 4:4

Yes Grandma Dolittle all things are possible with God. Hope and praying for your health, and glad to know your only $80 lighter...lol. I always try to remind myself that God doesn't put more on us than we can bare, so I know you will be ok and I know your in good hands! May God continue to keep and Bless you in Jesus name! :)

"This is the day God hath made, we will rejoice in it and be glad." "as long as we have AC." rofl You have a very funny Grandson! I can relate I live in Texas & it's been over 100 every day. Sorry to hear about your $80 loss & I'm glad it wasn't worse. Well you know what they say what comes around goes around! I'm sure karma will catch up with them, God doesn't like it when anybody messes with HIS children. ;) I'm also sure He will relace it with interest!!! God Bless You & I pray God will bring your flowers back to life & help you to feel better.
God Bless
