Surrendering to the Spirit

I have started the Spirit of Turth study to get to know the Holy Spirit more. Like a lot of us, I too never gave much attention to the Spirit as much as Jesus or God. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Spirit is sooo close by my side. I am excited to spend more time with the Holy Spirit. Today, I woke saying Good morning to the Holy Spirit as well as Jesus and God. Yesterday's teaching as well as today's helped me understand better in HOW to get closer to God.
Which also led me to the study of WHO I AM...I am created to bring glory to God...not all the other things that the world makes us think. Worldy view, I am nothing, but that is exactly what God wants to use...to give glory. I am not worthless after all. :)

So glad I am leading down the right path, the TRUTH. Knowing myself and my purpose, I can focus on how to give glory and honor to GOD. That is my purpose. Who am I? I am a child of GOD. :)

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matt 6:33)

Praying we all have a victorious tomorrow~!! (or today) *hug* God bless you~!!!!!!!

Your post reminded me of something someone said to me a while back .

"Consider a three legged stool , we need all three legs to sit on it - comfortably - . Is it possible to sit on a two legged stool ? ...YES , it is , we'll be using our own feet for the third leg right ? .... Here's the thing .. our feet get tired !! "

I enjoyed reading your post reminding me that I'm a child of God. I too found it very helpful reading the Who I Am study reinforcing the fact that my purpose is to serve & glorify God & not chase after what the world thinks is important!
God Bless

So easy to forget...I guess that's why it's so important to continually walk in the TRUTH because it is so easy to get side tracked.
Glad we are doing to this together and can't say enough how grateful I am for this site and all the wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ.
