Corrupt foundation like broken trestles
It's about more than shouting alone
Voices of gold and hearts of stone

Your praise is vain, God doesnt hear it
Your hatred a dagger that wounds my spirit
Am I stranger behind strange borders
I know God will not bless disorder

Pastor has preached this again and again
But like seeds on stone, it doesnt sink in
Some of who and amen and cheer it
Are the very ones who need to hear it

Can you obey Christ as a teacher
or are you just a cheerleader for the preacher
Hallelujah dance and sing
But how can demons bless anything

I've tried for years to make things right
But reprobate hearts cant be contrite
I've said all Im gonna say
We all will answer to God one day

This is my heart , I must express it
You cant have strife and ask God to bless it
God is not pleased and niether am I
If this isnt corrected, This is my Goodbye

Hi Praiseus ,
You know what? I am changing each day through Jesus. It all started by asking Jesus to renew my heart and mind. That I might be more like Him. I Had a heart of stone too, it got that way with hurt and not wanting to hurt. But when we ask Jesus to change and renew our heart, he does that too.
As for churches, I have been to a few, and i will tell you that there is no perfect church here on earth. We are waiting for Jesus. But where two or more gather in my name, i am in the midst. I might not agree with some stuff in our church. But I guess thats where He wants me for now. Jesus did not agree with the Pharisees but still he preached and attended the same temple they went too. That wasn't perfect either, and it was destroyed and raised in 3 days. I see adoration in His children when they gather in his pressence. They make the church. I love His children. Open your heart to a heart like Jesus and you will Love them too.
