First I want to say thank you to some of the people who have been so nice and welcoming the few times I've been here.
I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to do this, but I'd like to request prayers for my upcoming surgery on Tuesday, 12/13.
I have an area of tongue cancer that they are removing, and, hopefully, if there's no sign of cancer anywhere else, that should take care of it. Please pray that the doctor gets it all and it doesn't turn into anything more invasive than it already wiill be. Thank you so much for caring. maryanng

Hi Maryanng. I am angel of hope.. we met in chatroom the other night.. I also have tongue cancer. we talked.. I am praying for you and hope all will go well for you. May God Bless and be with you through all this, I also need prayers . I am waiting for the doctor to call me back from Chapel Hill, N.C. to let me know when they will do scans etc to prepare for surgery in January if things dont change before then. Isn't it amazing how God brought you into the chat to meet another chatter who is struggling with the exact same thing? He is so very awesome like that! He loves you enough and cares enough out this situation to bring you someone who understands where you're at. To me that says, He has this. He has you in the palm of His hands. He cares about you greatly and will see you through this.

Yes it was amazing! I was told on step 13 ,,I was to go to chatroom to listen and talk to someone in need. I met maryang.. she and I both had tongue cancer. I was shocked at first... then I felt as if God led me there and maryang also, knowing we both needed someone to talk with.. God is Amazing and Awesome!! I pray maryang is doing fine with her surgery. Praying God will be with her. Love and Hugs. Angel of Hope

I will continue to pray for you and that you will be healed. I really want to get closer to God and become the kind of person he wants me to be. Hopefully I can learn more about how to do that by coming here more often. Thanks again for your support.

I an keeping you in my prayers also.. thanks for the friendship add and your prayers!! I am facing alot dr appts next week,.. Monday Dec 19th ,, CT scans, and seeing another dr afterwards.. My tongue cancer was in early stage 2 when I went to the dr. at Chapel Hill, in N.C. which I give Praise for!!.. and I dont have to have robotic surgery... the doctor said he could get it all by operating normally. I give Praise for this also!! I am hoping all my scans come out fine.. they will be removing my lmpyh node on left side of neck. and restructing my tongue where the lump is removed from muscle under my chin or from my wrist. I also have a Dr. appt Dec 22 at the dentist and then after this see radiation dr. They have me going to pre op January 18.. and doing the surgery January 30th as of now unless something changes. I have awhile to go yet before surgery it seems. I am having all this done at Chapel Hill Hospital or they call it UNC.. I want to get alot closer to God also. I have been failing alot in my walk with the Lord, and I want to Get Up and Keep Going.!!! I know God has all in Control!! I hope we can be good friends on here and help each other by sharing and learning about our Lord!! God Bless You! Hugs Angel of Hope

I want to thank everyone for the prayers. I've been back for my 3 month follow up visit and so far everything is good. The doctor says if we can go 2 years with no problems, we can consider it cured. Angel of Hope, thank you for your support when I needed it, and I'm still praying for you.
