Hope meter running low

Postby tntchao » Mon Nov 21, 2011 8:19 pm

With the holidays quickly approaching I find my hope meter running low. I want to spend my time with my family not apart from them. I miss my family and especially my wife. I am waiting on the Lord. I just wish He would hurry up. ;) I know that good things come to those who wait. I just wish I knew what my wife was thinking. I may not like the answer but I would like to know what is on her mind. The not knowing is the hardest part. It is like the swimmer who was swimming in the fog. After a while she gave up. When she got on board she found out that she was only a few meters away from her goal. When asked why she gave up she said if I had known how close I was I would have pushed through but since I could not see I gave up. I just wish I could see what is out there that way I can focus on the goal. Not knowing is worse than knowing something bad is about to happen.

Have you asked her what her plans are? I know this is a very tough situation. Keep praying, though. Keep hoping.

Praying for you all, still.

In Jesus,

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.
