The most wonderful chapter in the bible....
This must be the most wonderful chapter in the bible
Psalm 139
1 O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where y shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, "Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,"
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
13 For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them, they are more than m the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you.
19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God!
O men of blood, depart from me!
20 They speak against you with malicious intent;
your enemies take your name in vain!
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
22 I hate them with complete hatred;
I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
Disclaimer: I reserve the right to change my mind if I come across another that I think might just be the most wonderful chapter ever written.
The good Lord led me to this tonight and it spoke magnitudes to my spirit.
Perhaps you have one that just wows your spirit.
Would you like to share it? I'd like to read it.

Re: The most wonderful chapter in the bible....
Thanks for sharing Pine.
For those going through trials or tribulation here is one of my favourites.
Psalm 31.
Its a long psalm but I will entice you with some powerful verses.
NKJV
Psalm 31:1-5
In you, O Lord, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed. Deliver me in your righteousness, bow down your ear to me, deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defence to save me.
For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore, for your name's sake, lead me and guide me, pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me. for you are my strength. Into your hand i commit my spirit; You have redeemed me. O Lord God of truth.
Psalm 31:14-16
but as for me, I trust in you, O Lord; I say "You are my God", My times are in your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. Make your face shine upon your servant; save me for your mercies sake.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is only a small portion taken from psalm 31, trust him, sit back, wait and watch his goodness, he shall strengthen your heart.

7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Scary huh ? ... I mean , considering the fact that I only know two ways of life , 1) ... My way , which I know all too well where that led me . and 2) ... His way , hmm .
If I was to "flee" from His Spirit , where do I have left to go ?
Good thread .
Luv ya

Psalm 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
God bless yous.....He loves us so much more than we can comprehend....

psalm 23
The lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters ; He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me, You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil ; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the lord for ever.
