I can't get rid of him. Is there anyone here with experience in this area? I don't really want to post more than that for now. I'm not even sure this is the correct forum to post this in. I found this site and it yall have scripture and topics posted about evil spirits in men and evil imaginations. I am asking for help from someone with expertise. Please all help is needed urgently. Thanks.

My symptoms include - self destruction, anger / rage, high anxiety, no patience for people in life,
I have not been able to hold a job or even interact with others in a very long time. Right now that I am typing this and when I was reading the site right now I feel physically ill, my stomach is nautious and I have a headache.

Last year I started going to church and all I did was cry the first Sunday I was there and that's not normal for me. The second and third Sunday's I felt better and then on the fourth Sunday I couldn't get myself to leave the house, it was like a ball and chain just not budging not answering the phone when my friend called, or opening the door for him when he showed up to pick me up for church.

PLEASE HELP ME. I AM LIVING IN HELL AND SEEK PEACE IN MY LIFE. THANKS.

First of all the demon is not on you it's around you and 2nd there may have been a reason you cried in church and also been a reason you didn't want to go back, you may have picked up on a demonic spirit in the church. People can be controlled in church as well as outside by the demonic forces. We are not to run or give Satan any credit, but sometimes our holy spirit will lead us away from spirits that is not of GOD, as for head aches, stomach pain etc. it could have been a demonic attack on your health, yes demonic spirits can make us depressed, and cause self destruction and all those things you talked about. Sometimes we just have to call out Jesus (GOD) the one and only to give us comfort and help, he will lead and guide you if you let him. Never doubt why you didn't go back to that church. Our holy spirit will alert and warn us. Ask GOD to lead and guide you to a church that he dwells in don't get in a hurry, let the spirit lead, pray over a good holy ghost filled church. Well when i started attending thats when I felt the evil spirits in my body and mind just tightening on me. My thoughts got so bad and dark I just decided it was better to lock myself in the house then to seek God. I truly believe that the people operating the church are good people and can help me. They go to prisons and minister to people and what not. I feel it was a cowardly move to not go back and seek help, at the time though last year I was just frozen in fear. Now I'm ready to seek peace again and hopefully endure some pain I guess if it leads me to peace it will be worth it. the church was trying to baptise me again. I was baptised as a baby, however I've been raising hell ( no pun intended just a southern saying ) since i was a baby. Do you think this would help me to be reborn again? Thank you.

First of all just because a church is involved in a community doesn't mean they are holy. Look Jesus warns us of false doctorines and devils. He give us power over spirits in high places (high places are churches and Govt.) See just because a church is kind, sweet and does alot in the community doesn't mean they are GODS true church. If you say they are good people and guess they are good. Maybe you should go back to them. I am still praying for you. Luv Gabrielle

Welcome to Christianity Oasis, and I'm so glad you have chosen to ask some questions. It tells me that The Lord has gotten your attention, and He calling you unto Himself. Jesus loves you, Cowboy.

You mentioned you were baptised as a baby, I think a lot of us were. Parents often dedicate their babies to The Lord which is an awesome thing, because we all need The Lord.

A lot of the time, however, most of us dedicated babies grew up but our our faith walk never really got started as it did not match what baptism is really about, because we were but babies, and we really didn't make the decision, and in most cases our parents only arranged for the baby's baptism to fulfill some man-made religious tradition that they had been taught. Wow! pardon that long sentence.

Baptism does not save any of us. Receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour is what saves us, as He is Lord and Saviour. Water Baptism is an outward expression of repentence, but only the Blood of Jesus Christ can actually save us and rebirth us. When we receive Christ Jesus by acknowledging what He did for us -- died for our sins that separated us from God, The Father of All creation, and that He, Jesus, was raised from the dead on the 3rd Day and now lives and reigns in Heaven with The Father, we are born again. And at that blessed moment, The Holy Spirit comes and indwells our soul, placing a seal on us, and He will forever be with us to guide us into all Truth, to teach us and to comfort us. Oh Happy Day!!! Thank You Jesus!!!

Cowboy, there are so many awesome studies on this site, which are Holy Spirit inspired, and which lean heavily on The Word / The Bible. I encourage you to read them, to keep seeking The Lord, and to continue coming here to be encouraged. The Lord God Almighty loves you so very much.

It makes sense that if you do have a demon inside of you, and if you did go to a true church, that the demon would do everything it could to prevent you. I don't think that anything you said reflects badly on that church.

Confessiong Jesus Christ as Lord in front of people would be a great start. Praising Jesus anytime you feel that you are out of control is another great tool.

You do need to study and praise and you need to confess Jesus as your lord and accept the gift he gave you - and do it in front of another person. Preferably people. I am stressing in front of others, not because this is necessary for salvation, but because it is important so that Satan cannot convince you of a lie. You need the support of the Christian community.

And please, please do do cccc on this site. But if you can also get the help of people with skin on, it would be a wonderful thing. We are here for you - but there are also advantages to worshipping in person.

I can only speak for myself and through my experience .

"I have a demon inside of me" ... I made that exact statement to my sponsor at one time , the only thing different was I added the all too familiar and notorious "I THINK" to it .

My sponsor's reply ? ... twofold . (as always) . Both made sense . 1st thing he said was , " Well who doesn't ? " . the 2nd , (which I hate when he does that) was ... "there you go thinking again .

Yes , I am a firm believer that we ALL , no exceptions , have demons within us , but , ... here's the big thing ... we ALSO HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT within us as well .

Our big brother Christianity Oasis has a , well , a "parable" of a sort for that which kind of coincides with my sponsor's statement ... White dog , black dog , always in a fight . Which one gonna win ? ... Answer ? ... The one we feed , hence my sponsor's remark , "here we go thinking again" !!

Brother , demons , satan , evil , whatever we wish to call it , they're all a state of mind , deceptions of our own making ... Yep , thinking !

My solution , that worked for me ? ... There is a statement in my recovery textbook , (which, of course came right out of the Word) , it states , in a ffect , we have our horse and the carriage in a backward position ... we're always trying to straighten out mentally first (thinking) , in order to figure out how to tackle the Spiritual , where the absolute opposit is true ... We (well at least I) need to straighten out Spiritually FIRST , and it then that the mind will follow and straighten out all by itself .

The more we think of "evil" the more power it gains over our thoughts .... no thinking (of evil) no power .


You're on the right track brother , keep up the good work , and , like someone else mentioned , going through these steps , helped me tremendously on how to keep my focus on the Spirit , and in so doing ... evil fled with its tail between its legs .

Im joining the others in prayer for you...and am so glad the Lord led you here. I too, have seen many lives changed through this counceling forum. I, too, believe with all my heart that you heard the Lord calling, and responded to Him by following His lead here.

GOD revealed something to me when I was reading the bible, I believe he wanted me to read this to you. In Luke 8:26 thru 33 Jesus delivered a man whom had 6,000 demons in him, Jesus asked what's your name and the Demon said Legion ( which means 6,000 ). When Jesus went to cast them out they ( the demons ) ask him if he would cast them into the many swine that was feeding on the mountain and Jesus did and they ran over the steep and went into the lake and drown. Now this is what I am getting ready to tell you about a demon in you. I recognized you must be a Christian because of being in church and the other forums you have given advice. If your a child of GOD ( a sheep ) your covered under the blood no demon from hell can enter in. Jesus would have to cast it and he would'nt cast demons into his flock so see you don't have a demon in you it's around you. Your surroundings can cause demons to get on you or around you. Whether it's you job, family whatever they can cause anger, bitterness, depression. We as Christians have to stand our ground with those demons and the best way is reading the word, prayer and fasting.
I got to admit, I don't do these things enough but just like tonight GOD revealed this so I would pass it to you. Also GOD revealed this to me also the mysterys of him is revealed through the word just like your question about demons.
On Baptism, I believe you should be baptized, baptizm is symbolic of Jesus burial and resurrection. I believe you can enter into heaven without it and this is why I say it, because of the thief on the cross, Jesus said I see you in paradise this day but also Peter said in Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the Remission of sins and you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit. I do believe we should be baptized in emersion of water and what peter said about Jesus name. Luv Gabrielle
