Oh my...my my...my heart hurts for the hurting...the lost soul...the one who screams out in his pain for help...the one who has nightmares every single time he lays down...the past boiling over....and he can't find the door to escape it. He cries...he yells...he screams...but no one opens the door....and he looks everywhere he can...but the Light alludes him...because he's been in the darkness so long he wouldn't recognize the Light if he saw it unless someone tells him what it is...oh and then he says to me today...please help me...I can't help him...only God can...please pray God can reach him through me. Some days this battlefield is so much harder than others...I can feel this souls pain today...and it hurts my own soul...oh I must go now....will try to get him through the door here at the Oasis today if it is God's will.

So much always going on in my life...

I told someone Saturday evening that I was visiting with, that I had to go because I had church on Sunday morning...sadly their reply was a laugh and then they seriously said...I don't think I've ever met anyone who goes to church. :( There are souls out there who don't even encounter Christians in their walk on this earth...This person has to be in their 30's or 40's...I've never truly asked...but imagine 30 to 40 years of your life with no encounter of Jesus what so ever.

My daughter is truly turning into a soldier for the Lord....more and more with each passing day. She had a bit of an attack recently by the enemy...and she woke me up at 2 in the morning screaming and crying...one of her friends was "done with life" and she was so worried about this friend committing suicide she came and woke me up. Took me a moment just to get her calmed down enough to talk to me...then she told me what she had told her friend...she said her friend told her that she didn't believe there was a God anymore...my daughter told her well there is and the reason He made you was for His glory...and that even though she was struggling God was real. She continued to talk to me and her friend back and forth...and she and I prayed for her friend...and finally she calmed down and went back to bed...where I heard softly wafting out of her room...the song I AM. She was playing it...she truly is a strong soul for Him...

And as I continue...Saturday evening a child from 1 town over committed suicide...and shortly after his grandmother found him and had a heart attack. My daughter has spent some time in this other town...helping the cheerleaders over there with routines and cheers and dances. Yesterday the town held a candlelight memorial and about 3 in the afternoon, my daughter received a call from one of the children who goes to school in this other town asking if she would come over and sing Amazing Grace at the candlelight memorial. My daughter agreed. When she came home, I asked her how it went...and she said mom it was so sad...and when I started to sing...I had to close my eyes...and not look at all the people(an entire gym full...as it was held at the High School in this other town) because they were all crying...and she said mom....there was one lady who started to scream and holler in tears when I sang...and I didn't know if I could finish singing or not...but I pushed through and did....I believe that God held my little girl up through that and helped her finish the song.

I am truly blessed through it all.

"Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." Jesus said....how these exact words can apply to even me at time...having been offended by the perverseness of a worldly person's actions....I've been lamenting on how upset and offended I feel....until a bit ago...when God told me to forgive them...that they don't know any other way to behave....makes me sad...to see the enemy tearing at the souls of so many....and they don't realize it, because they are so caught up.

So I have 2 choices...to sit and continue to lick my own wounds...which the enemy would have me to do....

or I can forgive...get back up and get back to doing God's work...as He wants me to do.

So here I sit, tears streaming...today was to be his last day...he was 9 1/2...but his suffering is now over...he had been through enough...and it was left to me to make the unselfish decision. :(

FROM FRIEND TO FRIEND
You're giving me a special gift,
So sorrowfully endowed,
And through these last few cherished days,
Your courage makes me proud.

But really, love is knowing
When your best friend is in pain,
And understanding earthly acts
Will only be in vain.

So looking deep into your eyes,
Beyond, into your soul,
I see in you the magic, that will
Once more make me whole.

The strength that you possess,
Is why I look to you today,
To do this thing that must be done,
For it's the only way.

That strength is why I've followed you,
And chose you as my friend,
And why I've loved you all these years...
My partner 'til the end.

Please, understand just what this gift,
You're giving, means to me,
It gives me back the strength I've lost,
And all my dignity.

You take a stand on my behalf,
For that is what friends do.
And know that what you do is right,
For I believe it too.

So one last time, I breathe your scent,
And through your hand I feel,
The courage that's within you,
To now grant me this appeal.

Cut the leash that holds me here,
Dear friend, and let me run,
Once more a strong and steady dog,
My pain and struggle done.

And don't despair my passing,
For I won't be far away,
Forever here, within your heart,
And memory I'll stay.

I'll be there watching over you,
Your ever faithful friend,
And in your memories I'll run,
...a young dog once again.

Dear sis,
I'm so sorry for your pain, some do not understand that feeling this way for an animal but I am one that does due to having several over the years and getting to know that they are alot like our Lord, they love you unconditionally, they always want to be by your side, and they love your praises.
I don't mean to offend anyone by comparing our Lord to animals but I hope I am not the only one to see this.
I have a chow/lab mix and he is getting old and I will have to face that day soon (he is somewhere around 12/13 years),
I don't know what is going to break my heart more, losing him or the breaking of my daughters heart.
I wanted to tell you I am proud to hear that about your daughter it is very hard these days to keep the young in church and close to God so to hear of ones wanting it and willing to do His work that's AWESOME please pass this on to her because she needs to hear it, also about the song she sang, it is one of my favorite Christian songs and I don't think I have ever listen to it being sang in person or by recording that it has not made me cry, heck I'm trying to tear up just thinking about it, for someone that is true in thier feelings for God I think this song has SO much meaning, I use to think because of some of my ways of this world that I was not allowed to feel this and it confused me when I would cry when hearing this song, but I know now that God loves me no matter what I have done or even what I will ever do, it does not change.....Amazing Grace!
I will pray for your peace in this and please know I am only a pm away
God bless *hug*
