I made a post Just a minute ago and through that post I got to thinking how many days go by with the people behind Christianity Oasis not being reminded of the blessings they give EVERYDAY through this site
I want to say Thank you to ALL the people who make this site possible, we do not stop and think of the countless hours it takes to make this all happen and why....because of a few people that felt led by God to do so and then getting all the forum leaders and the oversee'ers to also step in, So here it is that I want to say THANK YOU ALL!!

And then you have the people that come here and see the love that just flows through this site like no other I have EVER been on and the non-judgemental advice and love that is poured out through out this site IS exactly how God means for us to be all the time and everywhere and with ALL our brothers and sisters, so you see it all started with one or a couple of people with a dream to reach out to Gods children and it is contagous it's spreading like wildfire, now if we could just replace some of the filth on the web AND tv with more of this kinda love, how awesome would this world be?

May God bless you CO and Phantom and all the others who make this happen, you have my deepest gratitude and respect.

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, BUT I don't feel this is said enough!!

As I said in the earlier post I am proud to be a member of a site that shows so much of Gods love the way HE intended it.
I have read the latest of announcements and cannot believe there are those who would try to take something as beautiful and complete as this site is and turn it into anything different!!

Did I like the change of the site at first....no BUT I spoke honestly TO Christianity Oasis about it and now have gotten to the point I don't even remember what was changed!(old dog-new trick thing)
I had another concern later and took that to CO in HONESTY and we spoke about it and after me explaining myself better it was seen that I was just looking for leadership in this AND IT WAS GIVEN!
My biggest point here is if I have something I don't like or understand I am NOT going to run around to other members and bash those who have worked their tails off CREATING this place of God, instead I will go to them in honesty and hope for understanding WHICH I HAVE ALWAYS RECIEVED!!
But should the day EVER come that it does not work that way and I feel I do not agree, I will simply leave and respect those that have established the rule system and code of conduct here, why you say...because that is what I feel is the right thing in Gods eyes, it does not matter of what I feel OR those who are here ONLY what God would want me to do, and here is the real kicker I have learned to do this more.....since joining here just as I have learned what it means to love and BE loved with NO judgement.
So to close I just want to say KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!
and thank you for bringing such an AWESOME site to all of us!!!!

ever think about why we have so many "denominations" of churches? It's because people become unhappy with something in the church, and instead of staying at that church they broke off and went to another to create their own religious practices. Makes ya wonder why these people were going to church though in the first place...was it really to worship God or was it for other reasons, because Christianity is not religianity..isn't it following Christ and not religious actions? I mean if we are in church worshiping God...do we really care what color the carpet is? or what time the service starts? or how many times communion is taken? as long as the Truth is being taught and God is being glorified...and the Holy Spirit resides within...do we really need to knit pick the details? or the other members? No way! I think finding happiness in a church means you have to find peace and happiness within your own self with the Holy Spirit. I've been at my current home church and the Oasis online for many, many years now. Have I ever been upset about something in either? Sure I have...am I still going to both? Sure I am...because it's truly not about me...but about Him...I'm here to worship and share Truth as He leads...nothing more and nothing less...as He is what truly matters.

Just some thoughts.

Long time since we talked about things, I kinda agree with that but at the same time I feel just as we all have different cultures and backgrounds, you may like your food well done and lightly seasoned and the next may like theirs rare and smothered in seasonings, I like a cool house in the summer and very warm in the winter.
you see we all have a different perception of right or what is needed, that is what makes this world He created so great.

And I believe the same is true for your choice of worship BUT if you do not like how the majority worships in a place I don't think it is right to come in and try to change it all to your needs or make your own rules.
Hence the free will God gave us, we have the free will to choose what and how we worship Him and only He can truely judge what is wrong or right
This has been the ONLY problem I have ever had about America, I love this country and believe in the saying land of the free, FREE!! so many today forget that and want everyone to conform to their standards or ways instead of embracing the fact we all are different and have different beliefs, which brings me to my last point why can't we just live and let live, I don't follow the Catholic, I don't follow the islamic nor am I of the many other religions of the world BUT I will not go into their place of worship and try to change it according to how I believe, I will be respectful of their beliefs and even want to know some about it but just as I don't want to be forced to believe in their ways or ideas of what God is I won't force my beliefs on them, now this does not mean I won't try to explain my thoughts or beliefs just as we are doing here right now BUT if they are not accepted then so be it I will not try to force it or judge them, I will simply pray that we both are right or the one who is wrong is brought the knowledge of God so it can be made right.
One of my big problems with schools is when they took prayer and the pledge out BUT I feel ALL should be respected so if one has the need to pray to the east then so be it because it is his God given right and just as he should respect the prayer and pledge we should respect his belief but I do not think it is fair when things are changed and ways are taken away in this country that it was founded on just to please someone else's beliefs, in other words I don't think the whole class should have to participate just as he should not have to participate in other's beliefs, I just think this would be just as it always has been, the place everyone wants to escape to because it is the land of the free where ALL can live together in peace.
I hope I did not step over any lines or offend anyone that is not what I meant to do, only to voice that we should learn to get along and stop trying to force others to change to please us
May God bless ALL who read this because no matter how you believe in Him, you are STILL my brother or sister and that I know is what God would want me to feel, He is our only judge.

Hi cuc, some very interesting thoughts you share...first I want to say I agree that...trying to force anyone to believe what is True is definitely never the right way to approach a non-believer...cuz for every action there is usually an equal and opposite reaction which means a forceful recoil from the Truth if it is forced on them.

But I suppose what I'm referring to is that we all worship the same Spirit right? He's the same yesterday, today and tomorrow right? So why do churches so often spend time lost in details of rules and laws instead of love and worship?

As a child Jesus would go to the temple, and be among priest and elders. It was his fathers house. He frequently attended the temple and synagone up until his death. The Elders and priest really didn't like what he was saying. Jesus did not agree with their ways, and he demonstrates this with the turning of the tables. But still he attended a church that did not accept him and plotted to kill him, but he loved them and forgave them. For Jesus was going to make a stand that would change all mankind.
Our true church is not of this world. But we are where we are temporary as we wait. If we belong to a church its because its part of his plan. If we don't belong to a church its because its part of his plan. We are here on this site, because this is where he wants us to be. The day will come when he will gather us, and we will shine in one light.
