Wed. Weighed myself...I think the scale is broken...or that I just want to buy a digital one. lol It said I've lost a pound more...that's 14 total so far, in 5 weeks.

Breakfast: 1/2 Bottle water, 1 Strawberry yogurt

Lunch: 1/2 bottle water, baked fish sticks

Afternoon snack: Blueberry yogurt

Dinner:Garden salad with flaked tuna, red kidney beans, carrots, radishes...topped with spicy french dressing. 1/2 Bottle water.

Had microwave popcorn tonight for an early evening snack. It's not sitting too well with me. I have to quit letting things in the food pantry tempt me that I know I'm not supposed to be eating.

Praying for nicer weather. It'll get me outside doing stuff around the yard. I need to exercise more. I have been slacking off-bad!

Daisy

Grocery shopping on Friday. Time to make another list.

Thursday and Friday. Have gotten behind on posting. Been busy doing stuff outside, which has kept me from following my 2 hour eating plan.

I'll post today's meals. Breakfast: 1 strawberry yogurt @ 10:30 a.m. 1/2 bottle water

Went out side after an awsome couple of hours in Oasis Retreat....the Holy Spirit was all up in there this morning. woooo hoooo! Heard some good praise and worship songs....shared HIM with those who were there with me!

Lunch:1:30p.m. Egg salad and 8 oz. grapefruit wedges. 1/2 bottle water.

Dinner: Salad greens, tuna, red kidney beans and spicey/tangy french dressing. 1 glass of gingerale.

Have to pick up lawn bags this weekend. I've got a LOT more raking and picking up to do. I've got just enough to get a couple of loads of leaves picked up now.

Fixed the bird feeder, put fresh water into the bird bath...rearranged the flower bed border(using old bricks). Have made 2 beds now. Both have rose bushes starting, and the end garden is where the Rose of Sharon bush is growing at. Once more flowers come into walmart's garden center, I'll be getting them(Impatiens). They grew really well in last season's drought-like weather. I want to get pots and place them all around the yard now.

Thank You Always Lord for answered prayers. Thank You Lord for a loving family here, and my own. Thank you Lord for friends who are just as hungry for you as I am. Thank You Lord for directing my path with Your Loving, Guiding Light.

Thank You Always Lord for the roof over my head, for a fully stocked pantry and fridge...for pets who love me for me, just as YOU do, Father. Thank You Lord for helping me grow more patient in my trials and storms. Thank You for the PEACE you give me daily. Thank You for financial support. Thank You Lord for a husband who is a hard worker, who doesn't take the paycheck and spend it "boozing".

Thank You Always Lord for being there when I need You, and when I don't think I need You. Thank You for carrying me when the burdens in my heart are heavy Lord.

Thank You Always Lord for Oasis... A place to go to help others who're feeling left out, beat up, stepped on, confused, angry, hurt....And Thank You Always Lord for giving me the right words to comfort those who are in pain.

This I do......To Honor YOU

Monday morning. 11:01a.m. 1 bottle Dasani water, 1 strawberry yogurt. Went food shopping-needed to stock up the pantry.

Bills are paid, grocery shopping is done....and I'm waiting for news about a job. Should be getting an email later on this afternoon. WOOOO HOOOOO :) Asking for prayers. THANKS! *Pray*

Saturday was a wipe out for me in regards to eating. I've had some things on my mind, and just spent the day asking the Lord about shifting my thoughts to what is good, what is right and what I need to do to stick with eating well, taking care of myself and not allow upsets to destroy my confidence.

I feel lately that I/who I am have been looked at/scrutinized under a microscope, and I am not particularly fond of that...It makes me uncomfortable. So,I didn't eat much of anything...Lazed around the house-it was raining.....Stayed indoors.

Sunday...A beautiful Resurrection Day! Spent the day with friends/neighbors. What a feast! They had a tray of "munchies" set up in the den when I arrived. I was very good: 1 helping of celery sticks, 8 cherry tomatoes, a small handfull of brocolli, 8 slices of cheese(1/4" x 1/4"), 12 shrimp w/ cocktail sauce, 6 pretzels. NO DIP, NO CHIPS.

Dinner: 3 thin-slices of spiral ham, 1 Tablespoon of mashed sweet potatoes, 8 string beans w/garlic, and 2 beers.

I actually passed on desert! Came home, fed the dogs and "called it a night". Changed back into my "jammies", and went to bed early.

Monday night....1153p.m....

After spending a few hours on the phone and online this morning, I went back to sleep around noon....crashed out until 3:00. Got up, took the dogs outside and then made dinner for the 4 of us.

Dinner: Chicken patty, 2 servings of cream-style corn, 1 bottle Dasani water.

Afternoon snack: 1 frozen yogurt.

Too anxious I guess to eat today. So wanting to get back to work! From what I was told today, I'd be working afternoon/evening shift. Pay is good, job is 10-15 minutes from my house(yay to not having a long commute!), and hopefully weekends off.

I'll post more once I find out what happens after the interview. :)

First off..have to say "GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!"

My interview went very well. The lady who owns the cleaning service is a Christian. We immediately "clicked. She said "I like you, and I just KNOW we're going to work well together".

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!

Breakfast/Lunch...Hmmm....what did I eat? I don't think I had anything, I was so nervous about this interview! I did manage to have a glass of cranberry juice while on my drive to the appointment though.

Dinner: 2 small turkey burgers, 1 whole wheat/grain thin-sliced roll. 2 slices White American cheese, 8 oz. cream style corn. I bottle of water.

Evening snack. Frozen vanilla yogurt in a cone.

Late night...2 bottles of water.

Feeling great! Doggie is starting to walk better..THANK YOU LORD! Doggie is no longer on his pain medication and is sleeping thru the night.

Today turned out to be such a blessing in disguise! I Thank You Lord for those you place before me who can help me grow in my Christian walk. Today's meeting with the interviewer was just another blessing, of a Godly woman...we both FELT that bond with YOU! How wonderful it is to have YOU in common with another. AMEN!

Wednesday morning. Woke up early. Let the doggies out while I ran to the kitchen to start breakfast for myself.

Breakfast 8:30a.m: 1 bottle Dasani water, 2 small-ish frozen blueberry pancakes, 16 oz. grapefruit wedges.

Sitting here by open windows in the dining room. The neighborhood is starting to "wake up". Neighborhood kids have been picked up by the school bus, parents are hustling down the street in their cars/trucks, heading out to work or whatever other plans they have for the day. A woodpecker drills in the distance and the Canadian geese are calling out to each other as they fly in the direction of the lake that is 6 blocks from our house.

The sun is shining, skies are cloudy, but blue....There's a chill in the breeze that's blowing thru the windows, but it feels wonderful!

Doggies are lazing about the dining room, sleeping either on their lil' cots or laying on folded up sheets. The wood floor is cool on their lil' bodies...They'll sleep like babies most of the day.

Thursday.....5:59p.m.

Woke up at 7:30 this morning. Let the doggies out while I got cleaned up and dressed. Let doggies back in. Grabbed my purse, sunglasses and keys and headed out. Had to have car registration renewed...YAYYYY my car is legal once again. :)

Breakfast: A few slices from a 3 oz. container with grapefruit wedges. 1/2 bottle of water.

Treated myself after going to Motor Vehicles. Went shopping at a local thrift shop. Bought 3 movies/videos(I have an old t.v. in the bedroom with a built in VCR), and a book. Total cost? $4.00. Yep...I am a bargain shopper. :)

Lunch? Hmmm....oh yeah, about 12:30 this afternoon. 2 chicken patties w/honey-mustard(for dipping). 1/2 bottle of water.

Studied more on the Nuclear Facility test....read until 2:00. Fell asleep while one of the movies I bought this morning was still playing in the vcr. Woke up at 3:30.

Let the dogs out. Then brought them in and fed them dinner.

I was feeling the need for some "comfort" today, so I made a "comfort food" kind of dinner-white beans w/ham and cornbread. I know my stomach is going to feel really bad later on tonight, so I am not over-indulging myself, eating only until full. I've managed to finish off 1 more bottle of water.

The neighbor is racing up and down the street on his ATV-Quad. It's noisey and irritating. We used to have a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Now I feel like we live next door to a bunch of "hoodlum's"(as my grandma' would have called them).

Looks like a storm is moving in too....Skies are beginning to darken. Funny....just as I typed that, it has begun to rain.

That's all I've got to write about now. I'll post again tomorrow....

Early Saturday morning 12:41a.m.

Yesterday was a wash.....I had a 1/2 bottle of water and some grapefruit slices. No lunch, no snacks.

Didn't eat the rest of the day until I went to my neighbor/friend Marge's house @ 8p.m. We shared some great laughs(which I really needed after the day I'd just had)with another neighbor, Jean, who I just met(she lives on the other side of Marge).

Jean brought over some great Italian food and a bottle of white wine. We laughed, we ate...I had 2 drinks of wine.

Going to be a long night. I am waiting for sheets and other bedding to dry right now...Buster and Chubby are lazing about elsewhere in the house. They're glad I am home.

I am thankful and greatful to good friends who come to our aide when we need a shoulder to cry on, to share a laugh with, and who I can share my love of Christ with despite the pain I was in...I still managed to share HIM with them.

It was a great night! We've made plans to get together again.
