SORTA! LOL i love you! *hugss*

You're right. We are only human.

I've discovered something since I posted that. I went to the store(was out of cranberry juice), got home and not even 2 minutes inside-i started complaining about something. Sat down at the dining room table to turn back on my laptop...and I start singing the theme to the "Roadrunner" cartoon("Roadrunner..the coyote's after you...Roadrunner...if he catches u you're through.....") Hmmm.....Wondering...pondering.....Is this God's way of getting my mind off what's troubling me today by giving me something to laugh about?

Sure, some get Bible verses to forget their troubles....He sends me a cartoon theme song! LOL ;)

And who said God doesn't have a sense of humor, HMMMMM? LOL

loleth sortaeth! rofl

757p.m. Made some homemade veggie soup..thought it would be great today, considering the weather....damp, cold.....Took a couple of bites from it. Didn't interest me. Need to eat something.

I've got a headache.

My dog is having another bad day...medicine is binding him up. He looks miserable. And his leg is bothering him even more today. Tired of giving him medication that binds him up/makes him sleep. His quality of life looks as bleak as it did a few night ago...Time for me to get back on my knees and really give Heaven a shout out...I need answers.

I'm going to try and eat some chicken. Then get to bed early. Not in the mood to even stay online. I don't have any oomph...

Have to wait until Monday before I can get into the Vet's office with "Lucky" even. The nearest animal hospital that is open now, is 2 hours away. It's a driving rainstorm right now. I'm not taking him out in this weather.

Please continue to pray for him.

Chicken is warmed up-count it as a late dinner and snack. That's it for the night.

Sunday

9:57p.m. Another long day. Doggie isn't feeling well still. I keep asking God "when will he get better"? I'm not hearing any replies....so I am sitting here praying that I'll hear Him answer me.

Breakfast: a few slices of turkey, 1 bottle water, 1 strawberry yogurt.

No lunch or in-between snacks....Fell asleep on the couch with the doggies this afternoon. We ended up having a late dinner around 6 tonight.

Dinner: Tuna, lettace, spicy french dressing. 1/2 bottle water.

Snack: 8 oz. grapefruit wedges. 1/2 bottle water.

Doggies are sacked out for the night. Going to go to bed soon myself. I feel drained.
Will be calling the vet in the morning to see what they can do for my doggie...and I've got a couple of places to call about job openings. Continuing to ask for prayers for everything right now.

I know HE is there.... amen

Going to post my meal for tomorrow. No matter what the day is like, I need to stop letting "stuff" keep me from focusing on why I joined this program to begin with...So here goes.

Breakfast: 2 hardboiled egg whites. 1 cuppa decaf Earl Grey Breakfast tea(maybe 2), 1 small boiled potato with a tbsp. of salsa. 1 bottle water.

Early morning snack: 1 Blueberry yogurt

Lunch: Tuna with lettace and spicy french salad dressing. 1 bottle water.

Afternoon snack: 1 Strawberry yogurt

Dinner: Baked fish sticks(4), 1 Cup dark red kidney beans mixed in with salad greens, 1 bottle water.

Early evening snack: 1 Blueberry yogurt.

There....that's done!

Thank You Jesus!! \0/

As long as I've got it in front of me, I won't allow myself to skip any meals, regardless of my mood.

God does indeed answer our prayers and heals our hurts. Thank You Lord for the confirmation I was not expecting, but I receive it with JOY on this day! You ARE an awesome God! I pray that it brings me closer to this person who was able to admit they'd hurt my feelings. Amen

Thanks sorta and kimby for the bday greetings :)

Postby Daisy50 » Wed Apr 20, 2011 12:38 am

Thank you sorta and kimby for the bday wishes..... :) *hugss*

Sorta..that cake u sent me on my message was delicious!!....non-caloric(my fave kind)! rofl

And kimby? Those hugs were/are the best. :) *hugss* back atcha' girl!

The day went well. Didn't go anywhere, weather was kind of "iffy", so I stayed home with my doggies-stuck to my meal plan, and by 7p.m. was snoozing with them on the couch while watching t.v.

I'm totally bummed that I missed out on Easterfest programming tonight though. :(

Now here it is, almost 130a.m.-Wednesday morning, and I am semi-wide awake! While I've still got some life in me, I'm going to gather up the pups, plop them on the bed...get my Bible and read to them before we fall asleep...

I had chocolate earlier. It's been chilly and I've always reached for a hot cuppa' cocoa. It tastes good, but I realized I don't miss the taste as much as I thought I would, since I've been doing this program.

I'm still staying away from snacks, soda, candy and potato chips...rarely have touched any bread.

Sunday morning I got on the scale and saw that I've lost another pound. wooo hooo! In all honesty, I was hoping for more, but with the events surrounding my doggie being "ill", eating properly if anything at all was the last thing on my mind.

But...when I put on a sweatshirt this morning I noticed right away how different it felt compared to a month ago. Yes, it was feeling bigger. I was like "Thank You Jesus". :)

Just like with our faith, so is our eating habits...we fall down-after we eat something we shouldn't, we get back up-and stop being so hard on ourselves, and we Praise the Lord for the blessings through the storms we face, and also for the friends we have who are cheering us on every step of the way!

God Bless!

Daisy
