EASTERFEST 2011
7 days leading up to Easter with programs each evening... your input and ideas are necessary to make this an awesome time of Fellowship and reflection within the Oasis family.


What is Easter to you?
What do you do in the time leading up to Easter?
Do you have any specific traditions that you follow?


Please share any ideas you have for programs.



Also.... hosts will be needed for programs once the list is put together. If you feel led to do so, please let us know!

Jesus, Love, Forgiveness

We don't really have an traditions these days. We just get together with family and friends and our Christian family.

Maybe we could watch Passion of the Christ together.

Maybe we can have a time of sharing music. There is lots of videos with the passion of the Christ theme that may be cool to use.

Can't wait to see what the line up is.

What about something to where people come and share how someone showed them the love of Christ when they were given a Sacrificial Blessing?
For example, like say someone lost their home, their job, or maybe needed an organ donated to them, and someone stepped up to the plate and gave them those items that they needed, which in turn showed the love of the Lord. When one person sacrificed of themselves for someone else, whether it be material items or any kind of thing that was given as a blessing to someone else. Kind of like how the Lord gave all for us, someone else gave for others, just as the Lord would want us to do.

Maybe someone may feel like sharing how they were blessed by someone else's kindness and love that was given and offered to them. In any way, shape or form.

I am not that great with describing what I am trying to say with this, but hopefully you can understand my run alongs here. haha
