I'm requesting prayer for my family situation. My husband chose to leave our family weeks ago, stating his need for pornography and unhappiness with our family. He is unreachable and whereabouts unknown. He apparently has atleast one other woman on the side. He took our only vehicle, and half our monthly income as well (not even OFFERING a PENNY). So, I am now a single mom of three children, one of whom is a special needs child. I am unemployed also. Our special needs child has had a stroke, per the dr's, a couple weeks ago. She is stable at home now, but needs further testing an HOUR away in the specialty hospital and I'm finding it difficult to get all this stuff done with no transportation/money/support. My husband doesn't appear to even care, since his communication is only about his belongings and he doesn't answer anything I send him, nor does he call. I'm heartbroken but vigilant in my prayers to our Lord, but I think I could use some Prayer Power also for this situation and my children. Please.

first let me welcome you to Oasis and we are glad you are here as a part of the oasis family
I pray that the Lord is able to reach your husband and help him with his addiction and open his eyes to see that the Lord has better things for him, I also want to pray that the Lord does His will in your marriage and gives you the access to the needs of your family
I also wanted to say don't worry about having the "right" words to pray that is what the Holy Spirit does for us, He intercedes for us when we cannot come up with the words, LUKE 12:12
For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say

Thank you all and lets all keep it going. Truly, GOD is at work, brothers and sisters. I was finally able to reach hubby for a civil conversation...it's a first step anyway. I only pray for GODS WILL to be done in my life, since He knows the end from the beginning...HE alone knows if hubby will surrender to the Lord, HE alone knows what the future will hold. The best news is....The Dr's suspect that my daughter is now HEALING from the stroke...she is regaining feeling in her bladder!!! PRAISE JESUS! There is truly power in prayer and no matter what the outcome of my marriage, I only pray that the Lord give me the strength to do what needs to be done, one day at a time, Sweet Jesus. Glory be to our glorious Lord. You are all angels to my family.

Thank you all for prayers. My child continues to make improvements, Glory to God Almighty and our precious Lord Jesus. Hubby continues to attack me as the enemy...His mood swings are tremendously confusing...I do pray for him also. I continue to pray daily for the strength of the Lord, protection, also for His wisdom and guidance, and most importantly that HIS WILL be done for the marriage. Phillipians 4:13..I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I am so sorry to hear all you are going through. Please remember you are not alone God never leaves us so be encouraged knowing that.

Father in the name of Jesus I ask that during this difficult time for this woman and her children that you first comfort her. God you are the God of ALL comfort so I pray that even now she begins to sense you presence. I pray that you hold her in your arms and remind her that you have everything under control regardless of how things look. You see her needs and have promised to provide for them all. Thank you Jehovah Jireh. I pray that you would show yourself in a mighty on her behalf and I know she will give you all of the glory. I pray that you would give her a peace by your Holy Spirit that when the children see her they won't be fearful, but rest in the same confidence in you that "mommy" has. Father, thank you for the wonderful testimony and praise report that will come from this. Father, I also pray that you would send those that can be of assistance, whether it is through a job, transportation or however you see fit to bless her, I thank you in advance for doing so. I thank you for meeting the families every need according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Father again, comfort, strengthen, lead and guide this family in Jesus' name. Amen
