Please dont judge me for how i look
Take a look inside the book
There are some things that all of us do
So i'm really not that different than you

I still struggle I still need
Cut me open, I still bleed
So don't discount me or pass me by
When you hurt me I still cry

I go through things just like you
I have dreams and visions too
I often feel misunderstood
But i love people and my heart is good

Maybe i could be your friend
If all this prejudice could end
You might not always understand
But just accept me for who i am
