My family is rotting apart

Postby Skrubby » Thu Nov 11, 2010 1:32 pm

Hello all,

As some of you know, last year my brother commited suicide.

My sister has gone to the hospital twice regarding suicidal tendencies/attempts in the past month.

My other sister is losing her mind because she is going bankrupt.

My brother in florida is heavy on cocaine and is delusional. he shot a hole in his wall and the floor and pointed the gun at his girlfirned yelling at her to get down, she booked it.

my poor mom is going nuts from all this stuff

my dad has to go to florida now to visit david and hopefully help him go to get some real help

im going to school and its very stressful and can hardly spend 30 minutes relaxing anymore, very stressful

my little brother is eating pills all the time, stealing them from my mom

please pray for us

thanks :D

*Pray* I will be praying for your family. That is soooo much for your family to deal with. Remember in the midst of all this Jesus is Lord and HE is right there with you. Reach out to him and HE can give you comfort and help. Also...tho you love your family...take care of yourself too.

Psalm 9;9-10 The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed. A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know your name will put their trust in you; For you Lord have not forsaken those who seek you.

It can sometimes be discouraging when everyone around you is in turmoil..I pray the peace of God be with you..calm your spirit and give you rest in your heart. Give it over to him...have faith...If you read Hebrews chapter 11 it is on faith. It gives many examples of how people in the bible such as Abraham, Moses etc. had faith in God and he used them. Hope it helps..stay encouraged!!! God Bless you and your family! Thank you Lord in advance for what you are going to do in this family!

I know that Jesus wants to heal your family and give you all the peace that passes all understanding. The fact that you come here to seek prayer has said alot about you as a child of the King. God hears our cries when we seek Him with our whole heart. Praise the Lord you know to cry out to Jesus and reach out for help from your brothers and sisters in Christ for intercession for your brother, sister, mother, and father, God will honor you for seeking Him.

Be blessed, be still and know that He is God.

Lovingly,
Dawn Annette

Hello~ *Wave*

Wow... I don't believe I know anyone that has as many as problems as you, and I know a lot of people with many problems! You know the Word of God says that "He will never put on us anymore than we can handle.." I guess the Lord knows you can HANDLE more than most! *dunno*

I sure can't begin to understand where your coming from, but I can tell you that God is the same God for YOU as He is for ME... and the things I have gone through and many others on here have gone though, have been BIG to us at the time too. He has brought US through many storms that we thought we would never come through. Not only has He brought us through them.... He showed us a RAINBOW of promises that He will be there in the next one.... *ohyeah*

As your dealing with all this, always remember, there is NO PROBLEM TO BIG FOR GOD TO HANDLE.... NO HURT TO PAINFUL FOR GOD TO HEAL! He feels every PAIN you have gone through and are feeling now. HIS HEALING IS JUST IN REACH.... You have to learn to BELIEVE THAT HE DOES EVERYTHING HE PROMISE... and He PROMISES to be with YOU ALWAYS! Everywhere you go... He's there.

Another thing that will help you is to do as PAUL when he was going through all the things he went through.... He sang... he kept preaching the Word... he kept encouraging others even though he was going through so much. If you look.. you WILL find JOY in the times of your troubles. ONLY GOD CAN GIVE YOU THAT! *Angel3*

I will be praying for you to be able to find PEACE and JOY in the mist of all your trials... GOD IS GOOD! *Amen*

Love & Prayers,
Linda *LookUp*
