Hello Babs *hug*

Welcome to Christianity Oasis.

I'm so glad that The Lord led you here, and that you are starting the 14-Day Counseling Study. It is Holy Spirit inspired and has helped countless numbers of other brothers and sister in Christ, including me. :)

Looking forward to witnessing the blessings God has in store for you, through the relationship you have begun, anew, with The Lord.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Hello dabs *Wave*

You asked for suggestions so here I am. :) I suggest you let go of your sin and allow God to take them. Grace is grace. A gift we don't deserve. Never ever ever can we be so good to deserve Gods grace. We never can be good enough. You have other things to work on but first I suggest you work on letting go of your sin and receiving His grace. What do you have to loose? A heavy load! What do you have to gain? Freedom!

Not good enough? The bible is full of stories of those who aren't good enough.

Love ya!!! *Pray*
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

With tears in my eyes, I cannot thank you enough for responding to my blubberings. I used to delight in all the fruits of the spirit. I miss that so much...sin truly does lead to death. I would appreciate prayer as I attempt to re-start my spiritual walk.

God bless you all!

Hello Babs *hug*

You continue in my prayers to our Lord, in the name of Jesus.
God's perfect will be done.

The Holy Spirit will continue revealing Truth to you, Babs. He truly misses us when we walk out of earshot of Him.

Keep doing the Steps -- you are doing great.

Jesus loves Babs!!! Awwwwwwww, yes He does. *hug*

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack

Babs you precious lady *hug*

See what you don't realize is that the enemy has been lieing to you for a long time...he's whispered things like you've messed up so bad that God can't fix you etc....but the Truth is God can...see God is in the miracle business...and He does things so that He can be glorified through our actions...so what God wants to do know is see you repent of your sins, ask Jesus to wash you clean...and then He wants to know you love Jesus and believe that He is His only begotten Son...and then after all that He wants to begin making you new...and what's more to take your past and turn it into a beautiful testimony that can be shared with others.

I know that might seem a bit hard to swallow...but God does have a plan for you and your life...working on your relationship with God in turn will allow Him to work on your marriage and your children...but first He has to do His work in you...and with these steps you are on your way.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Babs,

I agree with all these others... NO ONE is ever to far gone! If that was true then we wouldn't have all the great stories in the Bible to let us know how GOD took those who, as we say,'too far gone' and gave them new life! And they went on to become the most AWESOME people of GOD!

It sounds like you have already asked the Lord to forgive you. So, YOU ARE FORGIVEN... PERIOD! No looking back... God doesn't! He doesn't see anymore sin in us after we ask forgiveness. WE DO! :( Now you just have to decide to FORGIVE YOURSELF!

I can tell you from experience of many ups & downs as you have had, but in different ways. That SIN is SIN! Yours sins are no different or worse then any of us that have sinned. Your sins are the same as someone that has murdered someone. Sounds pretty heavy huh? Well... as I said... SIN IS SIN! There is NO BLACK OR WHITE... NO LARGE OR SMALL... JUST SIN! Ok .. now that you understand what I'm saying... lol Here comes the BEST PART! IT'S GONE! SIMPLE AS THAT!

You have to decide that your going to BELIEVE THE WORD THAT SAYS HE HAS THROWN YOUR SINS AS FAR AS THE EAST IS TO THE WEST. As soon as you really GET THAT! You will start changing your attitude about yourself and then your kids & husband will follow. You will have to become the ROCK for your family. To build a new beginning for all of them you are going to have to have the fruits of the Spirit in YOU for them to BELIEVE there is truly a GOD that not only LOVES YOU... BUT LOVES THEM TOO!

From what I see you have just joined. I suggest that you begin your journey in the 14 day Christian Counseling Program. That is the one that has turned my life around completely. Its easy and most of all IT WORKS! I have held GUILT & UNFORGIVENESS for all these years as a Christian, which is over 30 yrs, against myself. I could forgive everyone in my life but ME! I have done many wonderful things in the name of Jesus in my walk but all the time feeling unforgiven & guilt for all the things I have done. Until this program! You HAVE TO do it for yourself! What have you got to lose except... your guilt feelings... your pain ... your feeling of not being loved by anyone...even GOD? Seems kinda dumb not to don't you think? :)

I don't know how old your kids are but there are also programs for them to go through. If your home schooling... it would be an awesome Bible study for them to pick out a Daily Devotional everyday. It would heal them and YOU. You could have them take turns in picking which ones they want to do. And they have games on here to. If you truly want to be helped, and I see you do, you WILL get it in all these programs. And that's not even saying anything about all the GREAT CHRISTIAN FRIENDS YOU WILL BE MAKING ON HERE TOO! *angelbounce*

I will be praying the LORD give you the VICTORY you are looking for and also the JOY that satan has taken from you. One thing to always remember about satan.... HE HATES YOU AND WANTS TO DESTROY NOT ONLY YOU... BUT YOUR WHOLE FAMILY! We can't have that can we??? ;)

So.. get your armor on and watch the SALVATION OF THE LORD! You will be doing GREAT damage to satan's plans by setting your GOALS TO DESTROY HIS PLANS!!! *Cheer*

God Bless You in your new Journey, and know ALL of us here are praying for you and are here for you at anytime! Your in GOD'S ARMY NOW, so show satan what you got! WOOHOO!!! *ChristianSoldier*

Love in Christ,
Linda

P.S. Would love to be your friend... just send me a request!

Hello Babs *hug*

God bless you this day.

Firstly, I would like to apologize to you for not keeping up with your journaling. Sorry, sister *hug*

Since you have chosen to use the "edit feature" and just add to your original post, your additional entries/posts do not trigger the "light buzzer" signifying that you have posted again. Sadly, most don't know that you have added more to your original post.

I read everything you posted from day 3 to present, a few minutes ago. My dear, you really are digesting each Stepping Stone's message, and awwwwww, what a blessing. Praise God!!!

I'm kinda confused on which Stepping Stone you are on -- whether it is Stepping Stone #5 or #7, but here goes. rofl

Babs, Stepping Stone #7 is one of my favorites. I like the part where it had me imagine the enemy standing on my shoulder whispering stuff in my ear, and me knocking him off my shoulder. :) I also like the diagram showing me how thoughts enter and where they go, etc. I felt equipped by The Lord to manage better all those thoughts, and yes...kicking some out, and laying some at the feet of Jesus. Awwwwwwwww. God is so Good!!!

Your thoughts today about your labor and giving birth was very touching, Babs. Baby #5 decided to make her debut with a little excitement, huh? lol Awwwwwww, Praise God! Thank You Jesus.

Babs, God was with you through all of it. And He loves you, Babs. :) The Lord God Almighty loves YOU!!!

By the way -- you don't have to re-read all the previous Step's study/messages each and every day -- just be encouraged to apply what you learned from each Step's study/message to each day forward.

I'm so glad that you have continued with the Study, and now that I know where to look, I can't wait what tomorrow's Stepping Stone brings to your mind. :)

God bless and keep you, Babs.
Love,
Sister Mack

Oops!

Postby Guest » Sat Oct 30, 2010 1:00 am

I figured that I might have been journaling differently than most. O.K. Yesterday (now) or Friday I was on step 7. I guess by adding edits I might have been trying to "hide". I have to be at the end of my rope before I will ask for help. Kindof ironic since my first post was *help* am I in the right place?! Thank you for finding me. should I start a new entry each day or just a new post? As you have noticed, I act first and ask questions later. I am always moved to tears when I get such loving, Godly replies! Thank you for finding me!

Hello Babs :)

You can just use the "Post Reply" button when posting, then it will trigger the light buzzer thingy. :)

Nice try on "hiding" rofl

You keep referring to yourself as a "control freak" but, let me just say that you are not the "traditional control freak". Actually, you sound rather like a free spirit that got her wings tangled in a web. If you look, God is working to untangle you right now. Awwwwwwww, God is so Good!

I couldn't help but to giggle when you said you are an organizer, yet the "charts" sorta gave you pause. I giggled because I had the same reaction. Seems it's easier when it's OUR idea, huh? :)

I just want to encourage you, to keep going and keep your heart open to God. As you said earlier in one of your posts, God is making changes. Trust in Him, Babs -- trust in His process. The Holy Spirit of God is about to whisk you into another realm.

*run* Wooooooohooooooo!!!

It is a pleasure to get to know you. *hug*

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack

I printed it out, semi filled it in, folded it up and hid it! I figured that I needed a few days gearing up for it. Monday will be the first so I thought that would be a good day to try to start on it. Too, I can figure out what I want to list to try to accomplish.
I haven't gone to stone 8, yet. The kids (4 of them ) will be out this afternoon. That might be a better, more relaxed time and I'll comment, again, then.
Thank you, again for your encouragement!
