Lost and stray geese are always welcomed into the formation. its not an exclusive club for the elite. Birds separated from other formations,isolated by weather, accident of infirmity, are given full family status.
The formation alters its plans, reschedules its arrival time and inconvenience itself to accommodate any strangers seeking its acceptance.

Many new comers arrive dirty, bedraggled and ill fed. They are never turned away, in the same way, Gods church isn't a museum for masterpieces...it's a hospital for those who have been hurt by life, even self inflicted.
Jesus said..ALL who are weary and carry burdens, are accepted matt 11:28..I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen, i must bring them also...John 10:16

God said He will build His church..
we are the church...yes..he is building with us.... the unrighteous, fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, covetous,drunkards, revilers, extortioners.....shocked?....
And such were some of us, but the God washed us, sanctified us, justified us in the name of the lord Jesus
