I am new to this. I have loved the Lord most of my life. I do not believe that I have ever stayed on His path though. Most of my life I have been lost in addiction. The Lord has set me free from them. I am just now to the point where I do not struggle and I know that He has a plan for me I just do not know what it is. I have not yet found a home church and I know that I need to and I am looking. Unfortunately none of the people I call friends or family are committed to Christ. I truly need someone to help guide me. I am praying that God will bring someone in my life to help show me the way. I am very grateful to God and our Lord Jesus Christ for the grace by which He has saved me. I want to do His will.

Hello robbett, welcome to the Oasis and to the new path you are on with God. It's great to know that God has delivered you from your addictions. I'm so glad to see you are seeking God's plan for your life and the direction He wants you to go. I don't know your story but it sounds like you may have an awesome testimony to share with others. One that will let the addict know that there is hope beyond the addiction...and that they too can be delivered, healed and saved by grace.

I hope you will continue seeking God's will...and please come join us in the chatroom sometime.

Dear brother in Christ, you have the Holy Spirit guiding you, and know that the Lord will place you in someone's way to also help you. Or honestly it could be the other way around. The Lord may place you in someone's way to help them. In turn helping you find your calling. God has called you cause He has already seen deep within you and seen a special gift. All his children has been given a special gift that truly suits them each. It takes time, be pateint, keep doing what you are doing and trust the Lord will lead you by His Spirit. This is a verse i find much comfort in at times, Philppians 1:6 says, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"
