Meditation of God and His Word

Postby morningrain » Tue Jul 13, 2010 9:33 am

Psalms 49:3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Psalms 104:34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

Psalms 119:99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

Meditating on the Word is God,becomes so sweet and can become so intense that while you meditate on His Word, it becomes a reality all around you. God shows you the things that have been and then shows you what shall be. It brings us to a deeper understanding and a want within to praise the Lord, for who He is. Meditating on His Word leaves us in a state of awe as we take in His Wisdom and soak in His loving presence in our lives. All Glory and Praise belongs to Him.

Meditating on God's word fills you. I agree with the word, but what if you have such a deep hunger for Christ and nothing else? What if this hunger affects your life and people around you? Having God on the inside is beautiful!

Hi RainyKnight, it's good you have a deep hunger for Christ. Know what you mean. Soon after becoming a Christian my husband said i left him behind and i had no right to do that, he was very mad. I then knew just how real God really was, seen my need for Christ, and only wanted to draw near to Him and learn all i could. Seemed no one understood that and whenever a fight broke out, it drove me closer to Christ cause i realized it was Him that i needed to depend on.

Keep feeding upon God's Word, it does fill you. Pray and just keep praying on the matter, trust God with all things. Let Christ work in you and through you. Like you said, having God on the inside is beautiful. Eventually some of them around you, family, friends, they will begin to see that. You may never know, but God may have chosen to use you to reach them. Christ is in you, then Christ can be seen in you by others. The enemy would love to try to stop what God is doing through you. Keep praying Rainy, i'll be praying with you. :)

If you ever feel like you need someone to talk to i'm just a pm away. :)

Lord Bless you Sis
