Teddy Bear In Hand

Postby Guest » Thu Jul 15, 2010 2:22 pm

In The stillness of the night,
the rap tap tap, of the feet,
that stops by your bedroom door,
A silent prayer of a little girl.
She is beaten black and blue,
He enters her room,
She knows she is doomed,
Hiding in her corner,
Teddy bear in her hand,
Whispering close your eyes,
do not stare, Do not be afraid,
It is me he is after,
Dear Jesus,
Please help me today,
do not let him harm me,
Not in anyway,
He grabs her arm,
he's heal mad,
he throws he down,
on the cold hard floor
rips off her close,
and tells her not to cry
because he will just hurt her more,
she closes her eyes,
and prays to Jesus,
until he is done
He leaves the room,
and she hides in he corner,
with teddy bear in hand,
she tells him she is okay,
and that Jesus was with her all the way
A tear drops down her cheek,
and jesus is sitting with her,
He takes her tear,
and places it upon his cheek,
and he holds her close ,
telling her she can now rest,
She closes her eyes,
with her teddy bear in hand
and falls peacefully asleep
