Prayer Request - June 8

Postby Sylvia » Tue Jun 08, 2010 9:36 am

Hi
I have sunk into a deep depression. Last two Sundays I have tried going to church only to cry through it. Last Sunday I cried so hard two of the elders took me into the Pastors office to comfort me.
I am praying and praying about it. Trying to leave the house and do things. but I have to come home some time.
I need your prayers. It is coming up to my hubbys one year anniversary of his death. Plus I am not running to the hospital any more for cancer treatment since that is completed. I am tired all the time. Sit down and fall asleep. Please pray for me
Thank You
Sylvia

Hello Sylvia,

I lifting you up in prayer to our Lord.

God's blessed will be done.

Sylvia, as you know, there are two types of warfare -- the physical and the spiritual. You have done well in standing in physical warfare, now it is time to stand in the spiritual.

You are not alone in this, my dear. We are here for you, as well as members of your local church. But, more importantly, God is with you.

Now, more than ever, you need to put on the whole armour of God and play praise and worship music, and push out the sad thoughts. Spending time with others is very important -- those that can help boost and inspire your spirit, as well as spending time in nature where you can see life's renewal process with your eyes and ears.

Sylvia, you are greatly loved, and there are many that need your God given wisdom.

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack

*Pray*

Sylvia prayers are rising for you dear sister.

When i begin to slip into depression this is what i do

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Phillipians 4 :8

When thinking on these things our mind is not focused on things that upset us and depress us.

The other night i was ready to break down. I told myself and another that i was going to break down, and that i did... After a real long cry and sulking and many "i cant do this's" i went to sleep and i slept a long time... got up the next day and went to work. I learned that thinking that i was going to breakdown actually led me to breaking down. I had to talk myself out of it with the help of another coaching me .

So here is your pep talk sis

Get up and pull the curtains back my dear. Think on all the things He has done for you and how blessed you are just for this one day. How many blessing can count this day? I know it has been a ruff road for you sis and I am so sorry for what you have been through. It breaks my heart dear sister. Here is a good one to think on.. God is still on His throne! Start praising Him when the thoughts come up in your mind and begin to feel saddened.

Two days ago i was breaking down, today i am rejoicing! Come rejoice with me my sister. Behind the cflouds the sun is still shining, and nothing can change that.

God bless and keep you, love you dearly
