........... God's word can be described in many ways.. one of my favorites is *love letter*.. the Bible is full of powerful messages that God wants us to read.. and God often speaks to us through His word when we read it faithfully and each verse may carry a message that has special meaning to every person..
.. if any of you have ever received a love letter before you know how precious they become to us.. we may store them in a special box, or carry them with us.. memorize every word.. read it over and over and over until the creases are so worn it starts to fall apart.. if we view God's word as His love letter to us how much more should we want to read and cherish it..
...i often find that reading my Savior's love letter brings peace and security.. especially when im anxious, scared, or upset. the next time you feel this way try saying a prayer.. putting on some praise music.. and opening HIS love letter.... it brings me peace every time..

amen Logi! His word is alive. I cant tell you how many times Ive had questions or concerns and have gone to His word, where the answers are there. and even when ive read a certain verse many times before, the Holy Spirit will show me something...it comes alive..something new, that i hadnt seen before. It truly is His love letter to us.
