Hi Everyone. *Wave*

Step #7 (Typed Friday and Posted on Saturday)

The day before yesterday, Thursday, wasn't the best day. Found myself seeing a lot of weeds, more weeds than I'd like (shouldn't like any!) Weeds of depression and apathy were trying to bombard my mind. Usually we go to church on Thursday nights. I found my self not wanting to go, but I went anyway, because I found myself remembering that this experience is only the weeds which I have to pull out I didn't want to give into those negative feelings. Interestingly step #7 is Know your mind.

That Mind Chart is something else! It really helps to have something visual in front of me which I can actually use and see what I am doing. Like I said the last time STRUCTURE. I guess being an artist I'm visual If I see it it's easier to comprehend and do. Mainly, I've brought a lot of lies and fears in to the Truth Circle. It really helps it really, really does. WOW! I realized after doing that, I remember the truth, which I spoke to replace the fears and the lies. How Great Is That!

It's kinda hard on the days when he is home because he wants to get into everything if you know what I mean. So I'm kinda on edge about posting etc.I don't think he'd get mad, but I do think he might object especially if I'm writing about him.

God Bless
*Wave*

Hi sis...don't you just love the Mind Chart? I do too...and I use it a lot...especially when I find myself being jealous, or angry, or fearful, I check on the chart and see what it says to do...and I speak a thought over and over that agrees with the Truth on the Chart...and amazingly it does work just as you said. :) Woohoo!

Hey Vessel *Wave*

I understand about the weeds being many. Still pulling some myself after nearly 2 years. *Whistle* Got a ton that were/are growing deep. But you know ever inch is worth it!

Keep at those weeds. And plant some beautiful flowers of truth while you're at it. ;)

God loves you and so do I! *hug*

POURING OUT MORE OF MY HEART

*hug* Thank You for the encouragement I love this website. I feel like I am having some real Christian Fellowship and It's Wonderful.

Step #8 (Typed Saturday and Posted on Monday)

Wanted to post this on Saturday but it just didn't happen. Here it is Monday and I started all over. I found myself starting to slip concerning a physical problem that I have. The healing for it has been taking a very, very long. I thank the Holy Spirit for bringing it back to my attention, and to get back on track with my thoughts Oh! NO! You don't devil I am healed by the strips of Jesus and I have power over all the power of the enemy which I might add is sickness! Thank you Lord, I am not excepting his lies. So, I told him off and took some of the medication that I have to take.

I'm sorry to say that I most likely will not be able to get back on the site for a couple of days. I have to go and spend a couple of days at my mother's and she does not have a computer. I need to take care of somethings for her, shopping and so forth. I do this about every 2 weeks or so or if she has doctors appointments it might be every week. She lives about 40 minutes from me and I stay over a day or two. Hopefully I'll get to step #9 on Thursday or Friday. I'm sorry that I can't get to the steps everyday especially this week BUT, I am keeping them in my heart, weeding and planting. I'm also doing the Miracle Grow steps as well. I can't forget about the Mind Chart Love that Cart! It's just Soooooo Cool! That's coming with me.
*KeepOnWalkin*

On Friday of last week I JUST NOTICED FOR THE FIRST TIME that I had some messages in my message box. I want to apologize to Lani and Pine, for not responding and answering them. I will reply as soon as I can. Unfortunately, I do not think it will be this week. As soon as I can I will.

That's all for now. *Halo*

Hi sis...enjoy your time with your mom :)

Sis...as far as that physical issue...just remember to give these things over to God and let Him handle them...often we try to carry our problems alone...but God wants to help us and likes for us to go to Him and ask Him to walk beside us...God is pleased sis.

See you when you return. Take care.

POURING OUT MORE OF MY HEART

Typed Wednesday and posted Wednesday
Step #9

*Wave* Well, I've been gone for a while, if it wasn't one thing it was another. I spent a couple of days with my mother last week. Like I said, I have to do that often. In fact I had to go back this Tuesday and take mom for a hearing test. I wanted to get back to the steps last Thursday. That was very difficult and I couldn't because my husband is home every Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays and usually he wants all my attention. Sometimes he is home on other days. That happens when there is not enough work for him to do on the remaining days. I do not like missing all those days. My miracle grow isn't coming along as it should either. I did manage to do all the steps today Praise the Lord! I've gotten a lot of weeds popping up Oh, what's the point of all this, you never continue with anything consistently anyway, etc., etc. Well, I'm pulling them out, even if they sound like the truth. I'm going to keep plugging along anyhow. I am focusing on the positive.

I have also noticed some very stubborn weeds. They have been around so long, they are hard to recognize at times. I pull them out and then, there they are again. I am going to make little post-its about them using God's truth. These weeds try to bring in unbelief, doubt and even depression. I don't want them any longer. It does seem somewhat overwhelming. My good seeds are: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me, and I am confident that, He that has begun a good work in me shall continue to preform it until the day of Jesus Christ. I am really glad that I am His workmanship and not my own. I used to be very sarcastic about that. I'd say, yea, you're some workmanship alright. This would escalate into some heavy duty condemnation well, you know what I mean. I believe that weed is out and staying out.

Life with hubby has gotten a little better Praise the Lord. Tomorrow is Thursday and hubby is home, he is going to be out for a little while before we go to church. I hope to be able to do step #10 then.

That's all for now Thank you for understanding. *GroupHug*

Hi Vessel, I'm seeing progress sis...I know with all those weeds still rooted it may seem hard to notice the progress but it's there. I feel a little more peace in your words. I wanted to mention that sometimes weeds can be disguised as they might have flowers that bloom on them...but in reality they are still weeds...so look closely sis at all that is within your garden...and make sure to check those pretty flowers as well.

I'm glad things are getting better between you and hubby. Keep working on your walk sis...and let God work on hubby. God's got things all under control.

Looking forward to step 10 with you. Keep walking the path.

luv ya

Step #10

Postby Vessel of Honour » Sat May 29, 2010 4:14 pm

I'm glad your seeing progress, 'cause I'm not. *dunno*

It's funny that you should mention about the weeds with the little flowers on them. I was just thinking about the fact, that there are weeds that have flowers on them, and a little while later I read the post about it. God is awesome! Now to recognize what they are that's another story. One thing does come to my mind. I've got to stop trying to fix hubby. To me that's a flower which is attached to a weed deceptive in nature. I think I'm doing some good, but I'm not. I'm just getting in God's way, that's all.

Still seeing some very stubborn weeds. I'm wondering am I missing them altogether or are they just growing back faster than I plant good seeds. The last couple of days I've been working on the "disappointments in my life". OR have they been working on me? That garden I think is one big weed. :(

Prayer Prayer Prayer, I should have a beautiful garden by now (all the years I've been a christian). Oh, I do pray, but I do not really have a continual prayer time everyday. It just doesn't seem to stick. I love to talk to the Lord through-out the day. I've never been good with schedules. Well, gotta go, hubby is coming.

*run* Just don't want any questions and besides this is all personal. *Wave*

heya vessel *hug*

one of the most awesome things about God's grace is that we dont have to be perfect! God doesnt expect us to be perfect. Another thing is, as we are seeking Him and His will and His truths, He will show us those weeds in His time. He truly is in control. When we ask, seek and knock, He answers in His time. Isnt that amazing? He knows what we need when we need it.

I think He has shown you something very very important here, sis. Your husband is His too. As you allow Him to work in you...He will work in Him. It IS His job as He knows your husband so much more intimately than you do...He created him and sees the intents of his heart. So......while the Holy Spirit is working in and healing you...trust Him with your husband.

woohooo!! you are doing an awesome job. i love reading your posts and seeing what the Lord is doing in your life. He is so good...always!

keep going girl! *angelbounce*

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

ps...pssstt....sis...i just wanted to say...your garden IS beautiful to Him..a glorious beautiful array of who you really are in Him. His heart is for you..and you are beautiful in His eyes.

Well sis actually...the weeds sometimes have twins..you pull one and it's twin pops up next to where it was...or sometimes you don't dig deep enough and leave some of the root in the ground and the weed grows back...and sometimes it's a new weed that comes up all together. Learning to decipher between the weeds and the good plants...is by seeing which one bares fruit...if you don't see something good coming from the thoughts sis...then it's got to be a weed.

As for hubby...you are right you can't change him...but you can change how you react to him and his ways...and this is where you have to plant your feet and work hard.

And yes I'm seeing some progress....you will too soon...just keep pushing forward.

luv ya
