God's strength is something I visually see,
When I look into a man with a deep need.
He was diagnosed with cancer April 2009,
But He continued praising God,
Even when he thought he was dying.

I met this man on a Christian website,
He encourages me to fight the good fight.
He remains trusting in God,
Even when everything in his life goes wrong.

I came on this site hating men,
When I met my friend healing began.
God used him to show me,
That men aren't always mean.
They have hearts and they have pain,
They need God to remove their stains.

God used my friend to soften my heart,
Though trials come, God never parts.
When my friend is weak and feels so tired,
It my God and Lord who keeps him fired.

Jesus, thank you for the strength you give my friend,
May the strength you give him never end.
Allow him to always praise,
And bless him in all your ways.

Angie, I just want you to know,
That the strength of God does show.
When you feel depressed,
Just remember that you are blessed!

And with tears in my eyes I smile...thank you for sharing this testimony in your poem...Our brother ange is a blessing...and a friend to many. Praise God for allowing him to be with us here at the Oasis.

T, He never ceases to amaze me!!! Your right about how my need is deep and also correct that i remain steady in faith...(sometimes it wavers...cause I am human!)..but i do trust Him!!! It is my hope & prayer that you and others see the importance of praise in our lives and how a simple but sometimes difficult act of praise can turn a situation around in our lives!! *PraiseGod*
