Forever just talk to God like he is your best friend. There does not have to be cany set way that you pray. THe communication to me I think is the most important thing. Talk to Him all day. When a thought comes to mind....tell Him.
You are doing good sis. Keep it up

Just like he's a friend, your best friend, sitting there listening. Cause he is. He cares about everything.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Praying is like having a conversation with a friend...just sharing and talking, thank Him for what He has done for you, making your request known to Him, and sharing your concerns with Him about others as well....keep working on developing your prayer life sis...it's an important tool in your walk with Him.

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

hey foreverb...
sis..when you are praying from your heart, there are no wrong or cheesy words....be honest with Him. The Holy Spirit also prays in ways we dont understand..uttering what we need to the Father, cuz He knows what we need..so, just open your heart to Him. You may think you dont hear Him, but you do. Be still...be patient with yourself and keep opening your heart to Him..completely and honestly.
Keep fighting the good fight sis.
Love you, girl.
in Jesus,
love momo

Hello Foreverbelongs
God bless you this day.
I know what you mean...when I first started on the journey to enhance my prayer life, I felt like a dork. Like I was at the first rehearsal for a "play" that I was given an acting part in -- as if God was a lifelong thespian and was going to judge me on how badly I was playing the part. Why? because I was just getting to know Him, and I felt like we were strangers, plus my prayers weren't the least bit eloquent, even though I was tempted initially to try to sound eloquent. Found out soon enough, He only wanted me -- flaws, guffaws and all.
I was so blessed and relieved to discover that prayer is simply communication between He and I -- at it's finest -- and that He really cared about me. I was reminded that He already knows me, completely -- it was only I that did not know Him all that well. And, on top of that, He wasn't the least bit mad at me for not having gotten to know Him sooner.
He really and truly loves us and longs for us to talk with Him. And He never tires of my endless questions, or my whining or my tears, or my lame jokes, or my ...
Wooooooohooooooo!!!
He loves you, Foreverbelongs.
Oh, and as far as your work schedule...He probably got a good chuckle out of that, just as I did.
God bless and keep you, Foreverbelongs.
Love,
Mack
