Boldness!
Hello All,
Blessings!
Grace to you in your growth in knowledge, wisdom, and truth of our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I posted a comment called Praying for the Power over on Spiritual Warfare in response to Deetu's encouraging word that more signs and wonders are needed in this last day and hour. Key in that post was one word most of us lack to see those many more signs and wonders of Jesus among us. That key word is boldness!
There has to be a "willingness" in our hearts and minds to pray for more boldness and be filled with the Holy Ghost. We have to consider the wonderful grace that was given our forefathers so they could be our examples. This grace is still available today. But we have to seek it.
Consider how Paul saw prayer and boldness. He saw it in the same light as his brothers. To the Ephesians in chapter 6 verses 18-20 here is what he said.
[18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
[19] And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
[20] For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Two other key words in the New Testament that are sadly lacking in the body of Christ today is one accord. We need to be praying more and more that the Lord bring us into one accord by His Holy Spirit.
So let's be in one accord praying for more boldness by the Holy Spirit for each other.
Blessings!

Acts Chapter 4 verses 24-31 (Prayer)
[24] And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
[25] Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
[26] The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
[27] For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
[28] For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
[29] And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
[30] By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
[31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
